Booked the room on the phone, took us almost 30 minutes. Double room for three people, at check-in room wasn't prepared for three guests (late afternoon). There was no apology at all. only excuses. Gave info about it and arriving there again late at night - room still wasn't ready!!! (3 o'clock in the morning) At that time a very friendly receptionist made the bed and brought more towels and showering stuff. He even offered us a goodie for that and felt sorry for our situation. Another friendly receptionist (a young man) called us a taxi to the CS for the check-out at 6 am in the morning. All in all nice hotel but the receptionist who was at the front desk first should really work on her professional skills. (very unfriendly)

We stayed two nights with our daughter. We all had a good sleep thanks to the good beds and separate bed for her and the fact that the curtains are good, so no early wake up when the sun came up. It was a perfect location to explore both The Hague as well as Scheveningen beach. Service at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Nice to be able to buy drinks and snacks from the self-service counter.

First impression is that the hotel is a high-end because of the looks and reviews. When we arrived the room was half cleaned and the people on reception moved us to another slightly bigger room and more expensive, free of charge. You can only pay with a visa or mastercard (no ideal). Breakfast was nothing special. You can expect better food in a hotel half the price. Overall for the price of our stay we expected more.

The room was really nice and had an amazing view. The breakfast was quite the disappointment to us, we’re used to more diverse choices and a nice buffet.

Welcome drink was nice. Our room looked nice and well-cleaned. The elevator was very busy, we had to take stairs from floor 8. morning buffet was well organized. We didn't like all the plastic packages during breakfast though.

Door slamming all night

This was one of my worst stays in a hotel. How come such a modern facility has not implemented a proper door closing mechanism? I have stayed on floor seven, towards the end of the corridor (room #721), far away from the elevators. Still, the neighbours all night and early morning were coming and going and their doors slammed with such a burst, that the walls shuddered, and it felt that my own door has been opened. (Primarely, I am staying in a hotel and not at AirB&B or at friends, in order to get a proper sleep. This time no value for money was provided.) The room had signs of flooding along the window, the interim fix was not aesthetic (How come after 18 months of corona, there was no chance to fix this properly?). In the bathroom the shower soap from previous guest was left (its own, not the hotel’s brand). In such cases the question arises how properly was it cleared. The shower sink cap was not properly reset, was hanging around. My partner and I had birthday on the day of our stay. It would have been a nice gesture to remark it in words at the reception or have a card in the room. Nothing extra, just a sign of attention makes it always a good customer experience. Other brands manage this, Novotel clearly not. I would definitely avoid this hotel in the future.

Spent one night to rest with my family (2 adults+ 1 baby boy) rooms and facilities were really nice and very much child friendly. Due to COVID19, breakfast was not the best as all food was packed in plastic. There are other solutions available out there, please change and stop using that impressive and shocking amount of plastic :0. Ps: breakfast was also too simple :(

Room not clean. Many facilities iun the hotel broken. Flickering light in fridge keeping us awake most of the night. Fitness facility opens at 9 am. Poor breakfast and low atmosphere in restaurant. Management without passion and attention to detail.

The hotel is not too far from the coast, so that's an excellent location between the city center and the sea front side. The hotel is so peaceful during the WE. A car park is available, no issue with your car, you don't need it during your stay. so, a Nice stay.

I always enjoy my stay at this hotel! The stuff is very kind and helpful and the rooms clean and spacious with all the facilities I needed. It's worth to mention that there is a refrigerator in the room and a welcome drink is offered for each night of your stay at the hotel.

Everything was o.k.. Surprisingly good breakfast. Excellent choice. Everything was fresh. Super friendly and customer-oriented guy at the check-in. Rooms were fine. Nice view over the City but I was in the top floor.

Hotel situated a little bit outside the center Tramway nearby going to the center and direction scheveningen Parking available but be aware of the daily price, not extensive expensive for big city, but it stays always something to consider Breakfast was OK, Sleeping comfort good and shower area, good and a nice pressure available

I understand that with a lot of groups of children the breakfast should be complicated. But I don't understad why i should have a bad breakfast when I chose a 30 EURO expensivier rate for inclusive breakfast. With that amount of money I could be in a nice place taking a nice breakfast. In the hotel it was not quiet it was confusing and crowded a lot of food but not the right one for a 4 star hotel. The ironic thing is ...I was told that the breakfast was free (I've payed 30 Euro for two ) Strange concept.....

Attended a conference and this is the closest hotel. The doors through to the forum were closed so i had to walk round, but the weather was nice so no hardship. The downstairs refurb meant that the bar area was tiny and the till was not working. I had to wait 20mins to be served as the bar staff were in no hurry, so went to the Marriott where service was excellent. Rooms on top floor have a lovely view. The decor is a bit stained and tired but standard Novotel, so ok.

The room was very nice and the staff was trying to acomodate my wishes as good as possible. Despite this here are some of the things where I could think of improvements. - No room services - Just junkfood for dinner - To enter the convention center one has to go around the building instead of using the doors inside - Even though the reconstruction had considerable influence on the Lobby and the Services there were neither a reduction in Price nor a frontup Information about the Situation. - No gymn (only at additional costs at a club) - No swimming pool - all in all for a Hotel in that range and that state not 4 stars probably 3

Currently we are undertaking a soft refurbishment of the lobby, bar and reception. Although we try to avoid inconvenience for our guests, we understand it is not the normal way a lobby looks like. We are expanding the capacity of our bar and will also be offering more variety in meals after the re-opening. The passage to the World Forum is closed due to safety reasons and contracted agreements with the conference organisation. The fitness is from an outside company, very large and well-equipped, more than an average gym at a hotel. Our guests get a discount when they visit the gym.
