different rooms , a really small awful one , 18-20 m2 room without AC, kettle, tea& coffee and same room with those (facilities). My room size was comfortable, bed quality is good, bathroom is fine = basic comfortable room . Receptionists are helpful, Location is the best point , few steps from tram, metro , buses and the airport bus. 5 minutes walk from Maria Helfer St , 10 minutes by metro to old city center. The breakfast is very expensive 24 € , you can have breakfast in a very good restaurant with nice views for that price, they have to reconsider the price. Summary good choice if you get a good competitive price.

Upon our first visit to the beautiful city of Vienna, we were fortunate enough to stumble upon what can only be described as a hidden gem. Situated in close proximity to the mall and near the stations, we were most warmly received by a charming hostess by the name of Vashma (forgive my err in the spelling). In my folly, I had failed to recognise that our booked accommodations lacked the much-needed comfort of air conditioning, a grave oversight indeed given the oppressive heat of the abominable summer months. However, this concern was met with swift rectification, and we were promptly provided with the desired rooms, which, to our delight, were situated conveniently adjacent to one another. Our wish to explore the splendour of the city the following day, unencumbered by the vexations of securing parking and driving around in a new city, was met with equal grace. The ever-diligent and highly capable Vashma arranged for us a solution devoid of unnecessary burdensome costs or tedious formalities, allowing us to savour the city's treasures with peace of mind. In summation, our stay was nothing short of delightful. We enjoyed a restful night's repose and had the distinct pleasure of beholding the resplendent Schönbrunn Palace. It is with sincere gratitude that we extend our best wishes to Vashma, both in her personal and professional endeavours, for her kindness and attentiveness truly rendered our visit a most memorable one.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. My own fault for making assumptions about Mercure hotels and not checking it out properly but the room had no air-conditioning [with temperatures touching 35 degrees Centigrade] or even a safe in the room. I will not be staying in Mercure hotels again or Accor hotels in general if this is the standard to expect.

willdejager Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

After a three night stay out of a total of five nights, a review of this hotel. After a online Check-in using the App, I got the keycard very quickly upon arrival by a professional member of the front desk staff. My room (430) is small, but clean and has an comfortable bed, a desk with a chair and a safe. The bathroom has a good working shower in a bath. Free WiFi is fast enough, but when I want to change to the faster WiFi, it is asking for payment. That is unusual, because for Platinum members this service is normally free in all Accor hotels. Maybe my Platinum status is not registered in this hotel, because the usual free drinks in the minibar and complementary snacks were also missing. All I got was one bottle of water upon arrival that was not replaced after drinking it. But no major issue, because there is an Lidl across the road and I filled the empty minibar myself. I did get my welcome drink, but that is already normal at a Silver status. And the usual room upgrade to Executive was not provided as well. But the designated room is alright, this room is quiet and the hotel is a five minutes walk from the Westbahnhof, offering good public transport options and in an area with lots of restaurants and pubs. And it is cheaper than the Motel One across the road. It is a typical Mercure in between the more luxurious Sofitel or Novotel and the more basic Ibis. Overall, I am satisfied with the price quality ratio and can recommend this hotel for this area of Vienna.
