Room very comfortable. Location very good. Pity that there was a mouse racing in the breakfast room while people were having breakfast. I have complained and they have replied thatvthey are very sorry and that they have mousetraps, but apparently they do not work: because of the cold weather outside, mice come in (!). Have never experienced this in a 5* hotel and think that hygiene authorities in Belgium might want to take this into account when inspecting the hotel next. Other clients too might want to know this risk when staying at this hotel.

Difficult to know where to order your eggs at breakfast and which only arrived late. Service in bar fine on arrival but attention lacking when wishing to pay. Check on and out excellent.

At breakfast, you can order your eggs according to your choice from our waiters or directly from our cook at the Show Cooking. Our Maître d' or his assistant are at your disposal every morning to serve you. As you may have noticed, we have had a major turnover of staff due to the global situation in our business. We try to integrate each new person with support and guidance (integration day, training over several months...). We would like to apologies for this situation. I was very disappointed when a piece of my property (a large glass tea mug) disappeared from my room. The management had ample opportunity to make it good and replace it . . it was not an expensive item, available to buy for 16 euro in a shop 200 m from the hotel. But they chose instead to question my account of what happened (because the member of the housekeeping team who cleaned my room that day denied having even seen it, let alone broken or taken it). When I came back for my next stay there was a little box of 2 Neuhaus pralines waiting for me in the room. I guessed this was by way of an apology. Rather empty as I don't eat chocolate and not a replacement for my mug. This incident left a bad taste in my mouth and was not what I would expect from a luxury hotel.
