Bad Daily Clean Experience

While everything runs well especially all guys in the receptionist, the daily cleaning is terrible. We put towels on the floor in order to be changed (that what other hotel usually do), in this hotel however, they just fold it back and put on top of our bed. We also use towel robes daily and they just never change it until we put it wet in the shower. Rubbish is not cleaned. They left so many rubbish on the floor and table unhandled. They just clean the bin. They didn't even touch the balcony where the ashtray is full.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff were courteous, helpful & friendly. Room was good size, neat & with the amenities. The hotel is well located within walking distance from the city center & the train station.

Extremely Disappointed with NOVOTEL Hotel – Never Again We stayed at this hotel on December 18th, 2024, and were extremely disappointed with our experience. After checking in, we went to watch the Paris vs. Monaco soccer match. When we returned to our room at 1 AM, it was very cold outside, and I was eager to take a shower. However, there was no hot water—only warm water. I immediately called the manager, who came to our room to check the water temperature. He confirmed that the water was cold or warm, but not hot at all. He promised to look into it the following morning but did not offer us another room or any alternatives at that time. The following morning, two technicians arrived around 10 AM to inspect the issue. They confirmed that something was wrong with the water system and said it would need to be fixed or further investigated. At that point, I had no idea what to do—no shower, no resolution, and it was cold outside. We had paid over $350 + for the room, yet couldn’t even take a proper shower! By 11 AM, we checked out and escalated the issue to a higher-level manager. Unfortunately, she was rude and dismissive. She claimed the technician had fixed the problem and that the water temperature was now considered normal for the shower. We were shocked by her response—how could the technician have fixed the problem when we had been watching them in the bathroom? She was lying to us. There was no apology, compensation, or offer of any solution. She seemed to trust the technician over the paying customers. We had been traveling for over 12 days through the south of France, staying at excellent four-star hotels, all of which were fantastic—except for the NOVOTEL Hotel. We will never return to this hotel and would not recommend it to others. The lack of service, care, and basic customer attention was absolutely unacceptable. The manager’s rude behavior and complete disregard for customer satisfaction, without offering even a discount or apology, were beyond disappointing.
