ibis budget Brussels Airport 1 star

Extremely poor interaction with reception desk employees. I had just requested that part of the payment I make in cash and remaining in card. The reason being, I had 50 euro in one of my credit card, which I wanted to fully utilize before using the cash. They simply refused and say, I should pay everything in cash and such bifurcation is not possible. I was travelling as part of an official trip and if you check my transactions, I stayed 10 days with IBIS Kortrijk, till 24th Feb, and needed to stay one night at IBIS airport budget hotel as I had to fly early morning to Zurich. Since the corporate travel card had Euro in it and then office would transfer CHF for my stay in Zurich, I had made the request of using it for part payment. This is my worst IBIS experience

They could add that you have to pay 12euros for parking.

Arrived after midnight due to flight delay, and even though I´ve called some hours earlier to notify about this delay on my flight, my reservation was lost. The friendly personal in the reception was able to find me a room but told me I was lucky cause the hotel was fully booked. Room can use some upgrade

I really like Ibis Budget Brussel Airport, the room is clean and good price, but it’s too noisy from outside of the room, we cannot really sleep because around 2am other guests was so noisy and loud

Have tried to write a revieuw while i was their, but the app didn't allow me to do it. a great appreciation towards the restaurant team in Ibis hotel. They saw everything and where very professional. Just a look and they saw you needed something. those 2 in the restaurant where a perfect working couple. THANK YOU for the great service that evening Mon.3/2/2020

Good option if one goes by car. cleansed. Online booking worked well. the only negative point is the parking charge, 12 euros a night

Friendly staff, having done the check in online meant I just had to pick up the key at reception, very handy when arriving late at night. Rooms have been renovated since the last time I had stayed there, having a fresher look, and the heating was quick to do its job. Beds are the standard Ibis budget type, which suits me.

price quality this is top. classical Ibis rooms, have all we need, clean and comfortable. a super extra is the great breakfast.

Bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. Check in was super quick, and the room was clean. Free airport shuttle bus is very useful.

Great low-cost, no-frills hotel. This is a very good choice for people wishing to be close to the airport at a very low cost. The rooms are functional and clean and the staff pleasant. The airport shuttle means that there are no additional costs to staying in this hotel, and the hotel also benefits from being on a bus line and some 10 minutes' walk from Diegem train station which also has direct links to Brussels City Centre. The only things that would make this hotel better would be hair dryers and a broader selection of snacks from the vending machine.

Very close to airport and have free shuttle bus to airport. However, for all ibis hotels, please prepare the bunk bed too if we have children. Because we have to prepare the bed by ourselves all the time.

We slept here 1 night and there were issues with the lights in the room that switched on/off alone during our "sleep"... we have a 3 years old son and he interrupted his sleep so many times. We asked to move to a differet room (as we didn't feel secured) but they told us the hotel was full booked.

The hotel is generally good for the price paid. The location is not easily accessible without a car. The service was good but I asked for a vat invoice several times and every time the answer was different and I still have not got it yet.
