We had 4 Days at Hamburg suites , and we where happy to have a Nice but a little worn out furniture. Toilet and bathroom looks quite new out. Under this covid 19 we Got a Nice breakfast but limited variation. You Will not starte for sure. At least fine and very friendly Staff. Thank you once again.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Everything needed was provided and staff was very polite and helpful. Room design was good for our needs (three people, with movable dividers separating the main bed from the other). Bathrooms (split into WC and shower/bath/sink) were all plastic, including the floor; I felt like I was on an airplane when I used the toilet.

Made a 3 day reservation, arriving at the hotel our room was only made ready for 2 persons and not 3 as ordered. Asked for extra sheets and it took well over 2 hours to get them. When leaving the hotel we were told that the parking lot was paid but when we tried to leave we had to go back and pay.

It was a very nice stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was large and convenient for family stay. We stayed on 2nd floor and had no distraction. Toilet was too small and could be more comfortable.

I found Novotel Suites in Hamburg below my quality expectations. The room was spacious but poorly decorated and quite weared. Besides, it was annoying that while there was a kettle in the room, there were no cups or tea bags or coffee to use it with!

Slow and inefficient reception attendance

I had to deal with reception on two occasions only: check-in and check-out. Both had a waiting line, both were slow and not well organised. I actually had no time to wait for the check-out, but never received my bill electronically as that was supposed to happen.

I did a reservation for 1 double bed and 2 single beds (SUITE SUPÉRIEURE AVEC 1 LIT DOUBLE ET 2 LITS SIMPLES). In the room (n°411), there was 1 double bed and 1 single bed. After reclamation, we've been given a mattress on the floor.

Novotel Suites Hamburg City hotel is easily accessible by public transportation. U1 U-Bahn station is 50 meters from the hotel, and the Central Railway station is only one stop from the hotel. You can also walk to the Central Station (about 10 min.) or to the Rathaus Platz (15 min.). I had a good room on the 7th floor, with good and quiet heating/air conditioning. The room was well insulated from outside noise and it was spacious. Furnishing was OK, with evident signs of wear. The bathroom was good, with shower and bathtub, but here was nowhere where you could put your soap in the shower. The toilette was separated from the bathroom, in a claustrophobic 1-square meter room. Breakfast was ok, with some choices available; staff were OK, too.

Just wanted to have two stress free days. First day at check in came to know that hotel has no swimming pool, although the pictures at arcor website showed beautiful pool. On inquiry the staff showed microscopic writing below the picture that this pic is not from hotel. Then why to hav it there, just to impress and misguide people. At night children used bath tub and morning 2 AM hotel staff called and asked if anything wrong. Apparently tub had leakage that affected the room below as well and we had wet carpet in the room. Next day technician came and worked an hour to fix it. We also found that toilet seat is broken. So overall was just full of stress two days, quite disappointing stay and would never like to return. No apology from staff.

We stayed 6 nights, not the first time in a Novotel around the world. Rooms (we saw 3) need serious renovation, as they are run down and not welcoming at all. A lot of customers complain about many things and staff are frustrated which is transferred to customers. Staff are therefore unfriendly and not concentrated. Room cleaning needs improvement, once we got no clean drinking glasses and no big towels for taking shower (which was realised only too late). After complaining we got only comments such as "ok - anything else?" Room conditition and services don't reflect value for money. The Management need to invest in restauration of the rooms heavily and less customers will be unhappy.
