Due to COVID 19 we had to cancel . No money no vouchers nothing .. no customer experience.

Dear Mr Bucos, the spreading oft he corona virus COVID-19 presents all of us with special challenges. The safety and well-being of our guests and employees is always our top priority. We are really sorry but we did not have any travelling restrictions at the time you were supposed to check in. So we had the usual cancellation policy in place. This is why you could not cancel your reservation without penalties. We did make a refund of 10% to your credit card though. Thank you for your understanding. Best regards Ibis Hamburg Airport

One night at this hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom very clean. Good Continental buffet breakfast. Bed linen clean, bed comfortable. Woken early by doors slamming shut - that was the only downside. Would be good if there was a way to make doors closing less noisy.

The stuff was great and very welcome but I've had issues with the pillows in the room where they were too small or too big and got my neck pain. A dry cleaning or a place where you could iron your shirts would have been great.

Everything was good for my one night stay, and in my opinion the service cannot be improved. Guests departing early were noisy closing the bedroom door, maybe there is a way to make the closing of the doors less noisy. I was woken early which was a shame. Staff, food, bar and cleanliness of room & bathroom were excellent.

Umpteenth time staying in this reliable Ibis hotel. Rooms are very Ibis typical, no tea/coffee facilities. Restaurant and bar are some of the best i've used in an Ibis. Only complaint is the advertising of LCAH (now ALL) for food &beverage purchases but this being refused when I came to pay.

The washbasin in my room was not draining. Went downstairs and told Male receptionist about this. This was at 21:45. Someone was to come to the room. At 23:30, no one had showed up and the problem was not resolved. Went to the reception again and this time I was told by another receptionist, in a very arrogant fashion, that there was no one to fix this and that I could only move to another room 2 floors up. So, after a flight from Brazil, I now had to pack my luggage again at almost midnight and move rooms. In the new room the lock did not work properly and I ended up putting the chair against the door, so I would be alarmed If anyone tried to enter the room. Therefore, not satisfied at all. Also, I have stayed in this hotel before and there used to be parking spaces on the ground floor. Now 6 spaces were blocked with cones. Apparently, they are now reserved for staff, which is absurd! As a result, I have to go to the basement garage with my car and schlepp my luggage in and out of the elevator to get to reception to check in and then do same again to get to my room. I am by law a disabled person, due to I'll health. Accor should seriously check into this and make changes.

Rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem. All our efforts are concentrated in preventing future occurrences. Kindly accept the full compensation of your stay in the form of a credit refund of € 99,35 which will be issued to your account within the next days. The parking places are not blocked for employees but for larger vehicles that do not fit on the places in the basement. This is because we have plenty of construction workers as guests on week days and the frequently come with large vans. But we will discuss in our meeting whether it is necessary to block that many places. I would like to reiterate our commitment to high quality standards, and I personally would like to make sure you will experience it during your next stay with us. Limited foyer, but staff friendly. I asked fir a quiet room and was given an excellent one. Breakfast excellent. Only the location was a little inconvenient as I walked from the airport.
