Jasksk Families - TripAdvisor review

Family stayed for 2 nights for a birthday celebration. On arrival when checking in the gentleman on front desk was helpful as chocolate teapot. No information given, no warm welcome and when asked questions he seemed like a deer in headlights. The hotel itself is in a decent area, has local amenities. The Excel centre, views of the 02, cable cars, Custom House station and local restaurant and shops. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as it was pricey but found local cafes who were decent. We had 2 executive rooms on 5th floor. Rooms were ok, had a mini fridge, safe, iron and ironing board, nespresso drink machine, kettle and teas/coffees. Our milk was not replenished. Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. Shower pressure wasn’t the best. Bathroom mirror was decent. Bathrobes and slippers provided. The only mirror in the room was on the bathroom door which was not ideal as lighting was poor and electrical outlet not in a useful spot. We had a good stay up until check out. Our parked car was damaged in the hotel car park. Some other guest hit our car & drove off. We got the footage on our dashcam. When the incident was reported to the hotel reception staff they were unhelpful and would not provide any support whatsoever. They did reimburse the car park charge, which was a token gesture. The lack of support from the staff was shocking, it was evident that they didn’t know what to do and how to handle this situation. We had to report the incident to the police ourselves. If we didn’t have dashcam footage then god knows where we would be as I am pretty sure there is no cctv in the car park. Would we stay again, due to lack of staff professionalism & help and lack of safety for our car it would be a firm no.

These notices are in place to ensure transparency and to encourage guests to secure their property, though we completely understand how upsetting it must have been to experience this. As the matter involves vehicle damage, it falls under the jurisdiction of your vehicle insurance provider. While our team cannot intervene further directly, we are more than willing to support your claim—should you or your insurer require any available CCTV footage, this can be requested through the police or your insurance company, and we will gladly assist them. That said, your comments about the team’s response, both during check-in and when the incident was reported, are concerning and taken seriously. We are following up internally to ensure better communication and preparedness in the future, so all our guests feel supported at every stage of their stay. The beds were sooo comfortable the staff were so welcoming and kind most definitely coming back and I love how they let dogs stay at an affordable price too as there isn’t many hotels that accept dogs I highly recommend and the view outside your hotel room is so pretty the gym sauna and steam room were really nice too

The shower is just like in Heaven. The dinner was superb with the assistance of Noarita, she was just wonderful. The hotel reseptionist was a darling too. Should we visit again, we will come here again to enjoy the breathtaking view during our dinner.

Benjiboo1000 Business - TripAdvisor review

Stayed for 2 nights while attending an exhibition at the Excel. Room was pricy for what it was although I think the price reflected the big event at the excel while I was staying.. 3 star at best. No water in the room. Ironing board had no cover fitted. No water left in room. Beds weren’t made properly (bottom sheet was just laid over the mattress). Nowhere to hang towels to dry after shower. Reception staff were robotic and didn’t smile once or say “thank you”. Restaurant and bar were good - enjoyed my evening meal. Location is perfect for the Excel and makes up for a lot of the issues with quality.
