Easy check in, rooms clean and tidy, beds very comfortable . Hotel bar situated in Novotel next door due to refurbishment at Ibis, good and breakfast ok too.

Because of the building work going on at Ibis London Excel I initially thought the hotel was closed until I'd walked all the way round and saw direction to go through the Novotel instead. Once I got to reception the service was friendly and helpful, as it was throughout my stay. I ate and drank in the bar twice was was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The only other negative point was that my room wasn't serviced at all during my two-night stay.

Room had not been properly hoovered and bits on the floor and hair in the shower tray! So rather off putting to say the least Plus a parcel left on the side which we put in the wardrobe area!! Don't call that a well cared for hotel.

with Excel event near, the location was perfect. Unfortunatelly We have some small bad experience: - at the begining the acces was confusing, with just 1 directional sign. in the day 2 become appropriate with 4 directional - the conditioneur from the shower war impossibile to be open (shower dus gel ok) - internet is working unconstant

On arrival, very loud drilling from room. I needed to work and was unable. no ability to call reception from the room (number or phone) - I ended up calling room service and asking them to transfer me (which they could not). After waiting 10minutes for a return call I went to reception myself (a long walk and 7 floors) to be told that 'nothing could be done', 'did I want to leave?' (and go where?), ' I could move you to the floor below but it will still be loud'. Awful customer service. Breakfast was extremely busy and the kitchen were unable to cope with the demand for hot food - continuous queues, which most of the time were static as awaiting replenishment of food.

Overall the stay was great however upon phoning a week or so prior to the booking to confirm the booking via Booking.com I was advised by one of your staff that the hotel was in fact closed during the week of my stay and it was likely that Booking.com would change my booking. This lead me to contact Booking.com to advise them of my conversation with a member of your staff and subsequently losing my booking with IBIS for a good price. I was then told by a member of staff that this was not the case and therefore had to pay a higher price to re-book the room! Why I was told the hotel was closed was beyond me and caused inconvenience and cost!

We enjoyed our stay and found traveling into central very easy from where we were staying. The rooms were clean as I was concerned due to the current climate. There were building working being carried out at the hotel during our stay it did not interfere with our stay. I would definitely consider staying here due to the location.

The renovations at the entrance of Ibis Hotel seem to be going on now for ages. So, we went through Novotel to get into the building. The staff provided excellent customer service. I was a bit disappointed to find only two towels for a double room with 2 guests. The breakfast was good! Check-in and check-out was very smooth. The parking is too expensive!!

I think that this is an excellent place to stay. I was at a conference in the Excel and Ibis were just great from start to finish. Held onto my luggage from early in the day which really supported not messing with the busy Excel cloak. I received a text when my room was ready and when I arrived check in was seamless and staff were so lovely. I would like to mention the staff on the front desk who were so polite and nice, brilliant service. Finally checkout (at 12.00pm as standard) was seamless and breakfast was amazing.

Clean room, nice view on the habor However iBis part is on renovation, a little bit noisy; very very very long distance to walk before arrive at room. Apparently the elite status doesn't work there neither

I have used the hotel before because it is convenient for the O2 Arena. THe rooms are clean and comfortable. The bedroom meets all my needs and provided a comfortable night's sleep. The breakfast was hearty and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful

Great staff and the rooms are really comfy and a great location but for the second times its let down by the food, restaurant was slammed, fine, placed my order and it came surprisingly quick.. for a reason.. the main dish was under cooked and the side was not what i asked for but the waitress did not wait just slide the plate to me and left. No cutlery or anything.

The bedroom and bathroom were fine except I found the bed very hard. The dinners were basic. The price was high as Comic Con was on at Excel. Service from some staff was OK, others could improve their people skills.
