Booked this hotel as an Accor member but also based on reviews. Appeared a little isolated upon arrival but is only a 10 minute walk through the Tiergarten to all the amenities at Charlottenburg (Zoological Gardens is the next stop on the numerous S Bahns that pass through). Similarly easily connected to the main station (2 stops beforehand) and depending which line you take, to various other stations where you can connect with the U Bahn (U2 is at Zoological Gardens and connects to many things around Berlin). So not as isolated as first impression would suggest. In fact, turn left out the hotel and a good walk (30 mins) finds you at the Brandenburg Gates. In terms of the facilities, room was extremely well appointed: very comfortable bed, crisp linen, big European pillows, tv had a facility to switch dubbed shows back into English (only did it once but assume it works on other programs). Liked the bathroom and toilet being separate. Had a meal in the restaurant. Staff were extremely attentive and price not too bad for a hotel. Reception staff were equally attentive upon arrival and whenever queries about hotel or any other services nearby. Early start next morning and there was free coffee available and a tv where you could check news, weather and flight departures and arrivals (including gate numbers). Clearly aimed at the business customer. That said, location near to Tiergarten and train line wins over need to have cafes and shops on doorstep. Perhaps not suitable for families but great for couples or solo travellers.

Excellent situation, friendly welcome, comfortable and spacious rooms, and a first-rate breakfast. Having stayed in Novotels in various countries, I can't help feeling that French Novotels could learn a lesson from their European counterparts.

We have stayed in Novotel before but not this one,it was everything we expected.Our room was perfect for our family needs.Ideal location right next to the train station,also it's about 10 mins walk through the park to the Zoological garten.10 mins walk to the Victory column.Will definately use Novotel again in the future.

Nowhere near the great service i have experienced in other Novotel hotels around the world. Cold welcome upon arrival, cleanliness not so great, room was very small. Toilet and bathroom in 2 seperate rooms

朝6時のまだ暗い時間に部屋の電灯が落ちた。フロントへの電話連絡も暗くて番号が分かなかったので、直接フロントに状況を伝えに行った。すぐに状況確認にフロントの方が来てくれ、メンテナンスの人に状況確認と修復を依頼すると伺った。夕刻には電灯は正常に点灯した。 チェックアウトの後に、書類ケースのないことに気づき、フロントの周り、セキュリティールームを探してもらったが見つからず、部屋のテーブルの上に置き忘れたかもしれない旨を伝えた。掃除の終わった状態とのことで、調べてもらったところ、問題の書類ケースが見つかった。たいへん助かった。感謝です。

アクセスが非常によく、エントランスもわかりやすいです。部屋は清潔でした。匂いがほとんどないので、日本人も快適に過ごせると思います。 ただ、シャワーが使いにくい！狭くて、シャンプーなどをちょっとおくところもものすごーく不安定です。 温水がホースの途中でだらだらと漏れるのはまあ良しとしても、どうやってもドアの隙間から外に漏れて、床が濡れてしまいます。バスマットの置き方に注意。

good location, clean and nice room, excelent breakfast we staied for 3 nights and it was good,staff is nice and helping close to metro station,good wifi, clean, easy to get to airport and to go to berlins atractions

The hotel has a great location and the rooms are very clean and spacious. Rooms were very quiet despite being very close to the S-Bahn station Tiergarten. This was our second stay at the same hotel and we would be happy to stay there again.

Modern hotel with good sized rooms and good air conditioning. Loved the steam room, sauna and roof top terrace. Hotel is situated across from train station and near center of Berlin. It was very easy to get around. There aren’t many places to eat nearby, but there is a place for breakfast sandwiches and pastries across the street and a Burger King. One negative point is that restaurant at the hotel is very overpriced for breakfast. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

ネット予約で少々不安でしたが、フロントでのチェックイン時こちらの要望をちゃんと聞いてもらえ、快適な旅行を楽しむ事が出来ました。

We booked this location due to our previous booking at Novotel Berlin Mitte being cancelled shortly after 18:00. Although written in the booking, i never experienced this without any prior warning. The bad: 1. We were charged for Late Checkout 2. We were told breakfast was included at check in and later the next day we had to pay 42 euros. 3. Never recieved welcome drink as Silver member 4. We asked for help with a taxi and was told just wait outside for one (4 star hotel service?) Good: 1. The late checkout fee was taken off but not after talking to 3 people 2. Room was clean and quiet with a great view After this experience and recent previous, i will no longer continue with Accors hotels after my 7-8 year tenure. The quality has simply decreased with finding better value and service at other hotel chains.

Check-in was not satisfied. The staff couldn't find my reservation though I informed my surname and number of nights that I booked. He also forgot to give me drink voucher for Accor silver card holder.

I am quite often staying in this hotel but in the past I did not feel well taken care of. This time it was perfect; a very warm welcome noticing I was a frequent guest; no issues with upgrade for both (!) reserved rooms, free drinks, something sweet in my room, rooms prepared as asked... Everything really taken care of. It is a great pleasure to be welcomed this way and makes me definitely planning to go back. So thanks to the reception Staff for exceptional care and see you soon :-)

All was the best- vety friendly. Best location of Hotel - near S - Bahnhof Very good rooms Nice bar Tiergarten - place of Flee market A lot of antics , paintings stamps coins photo camers - all very cheep... Thanks and thanks hotel Novotel

A good hotel, the S Bahn across the road, one stop to the Kdamm in one direction and direct to the airport in the other. Friendly staff, good service, comfortable rooms with good beds. Everything I expect from a Novotel.
