Novotel and the local management was flexible with our reservation. They were patient going through different options. My parents stayed at the hotel and they found the check-in process seamless. Their room was large enough amd efficient. They were able to reach all the attractions they wanted to see in Berlin easily by public transportion right in front of the hotel. They also got to the hotel easily from the airport.

We had an enjoyable stay in Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten. Staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Any request was looked into straight away. Room was spacious. Fantastic location.

On arrival with my wife at 8.00pm Thursday 10 October 2024 we were offered at reception either a disabled room or a twin bedded room. We chose the latter. We were given the choice of moving the two beds together ourselves or sending up someone to do it for us. We asked that it be done for us which it was. This was a very unsatisfactory situation . We had made the booking many months before and had very much looked forward to our visit. In addition the room appeared unprepared. There was one small towel between us and my wife had to ring down twice before more were bought up. We have stayed at Novotel am Tiergarten many times over the last two decades and we feel very disappointed that preparations were not in place for our arrival. We would like to add though, that all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were very grateful for the attention they gave us. Perhaps the fault is with the system. There were some conferences going on at the hotel and our perception was that these were given priority over us. By way of a compliment we will be hoping to stay at your hotel in the future. It is a fantastic hotel from location to amenities and staff. But it was spoilt on this occasion by our double bedded rom room not being available for us. Best wishes, Richard (Richard P.)

Dear Richard P., Thank you for sharing your impressions of your last stay. I am very sorry that you did not receive a room that met your expectations. We understandably had the information that you did not want a barrier-free room. However, the fact that it had to be a room with a queen-size bed was not. The standard room category includes all 3 bed types. As we were now fully booked, we unfortunately had no further availability of rooms with a queen-size bed or the option to change rooms. I assure you, we certainly did not want to upset you. It is very important to us that regular guests in particular always receive the same feel-good experience.
