We enjoyed our stay here very much, the location is fantastic, many good restaurants within short walking distance and a shopping mall also, the room was nicely decorated in earth tones with a very comfortable bed and plenty of space, in fact there’s a balcony for an enjoyable evening. Even though we didn’t use it, there’s a small kitchen also. The restroom is nice size and a great shower. The breakfast was worth every cent also, not included in the room rate but really good with everything from croissants to different options of fresh sourdough breads, fruits, eggs, bacon, cereals, juices and expresso. We very happy with our stay at Gran Mercure.

Brasilia is not the greatest City to go to. But Hotel is the best hotel there.

Fantasic views, very attentive staff, AMAZING breakfast. Staff is outstandingly attentive and really does care about personal notes. They do go the extra Mile. Breakfast is a must-do. Fresh juices, Omelette a la carte. Several fruits and warm dishes.

This should by no means be a 5* hotel

We had 2 deluxe rooms for our family at this hotel. At check-in we were told these rooms have been refurbished. Once you hear this you suppose it was recent however in this case this may meant it was done at some point after the initial construction. The condition of the rooms is appalling! Ours had the paint chipped off the surfaces of the furniture and the wallpaper damaged. The other had paint on the cupboard sliding doors scratched and damaged. The rooms did not have a bin in the room, shower cap (and the rest of the little things that come with it) and some toothbrush container/holder in the bathroom. In our room the shampoo refillable flask was empty! Apart from this the decor is dull. Starting off with the corridors that lead to rooms which have a blue wall to wall carpet and gray walls to the rooms which are all in gray with burgundy surface below the TV and white light! Totally lifeless with no view from 2nd floor whatsoever. We had no breakfast included thus did not go. This should by no means be classified as a 5* property and should cost way less than it did.

Pretty pictures, ugly reality

I am a guest right now. I would mention: valet watches guests get luggage and don’t offer help, but check in , lobby, breakfast and restaurants were nice. I got a junior suite and AC not working. Had to call maintenance twice. Also, room wasn’t made at 1:30 pm despite being away since 9 am and calling house keepers to come. Pool area got no towels, no bar. Gym is poorly equipped, rusty equipment and open to tropical temperatures. No AC. It does have a water filter but no cups. I called for cups and was told because of Covid no cups could be provided… below are pictures of gym, dirty walls , dry sweat stains around, definitely they are “very “ worried w Covid. Definitely not 5 or 4 stars.
