Great stay , clean comfortable room , although limited staff as it was Xmas ,nothing was to much trouble , the two lads on reception were great as was the young lady cleaning the rooms , needed shower gel and towels changed no problem this was done immediately , we are frequent visitors to The Ibis Rugby East and can never fault it .

Arrived evening. Room cold and turned on water on sink .it would not turn off. Receptionist got us another room and offered us a drink. Eventually got new room warm. Breakfast cold next morning. New receptionist told us she had tosort something before getting us breakfast. Two other people in restaurant. Room fine that night and next morning guy in restaurant really good .listened and wehad hot breakfast and really good service.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful, the room was pleasant and the bed comfortable, however the room was freezing cold when we arrived. We put the heating on but it took ages to warm up. The water in the shower was also only lukewarm which made it unpleasant, especially in a cold bathroom! In the morning the restaurant /breakfast room was also freezing cold, and we had to get extra clothes to keep us warm whilst we had breakfast. The supervisor was friendly but said that the heating was broken and was due to be fixed that day.

Staff extremely helpful and polite. Room was OK, a few little issues (no top on the soap dispenser so it didn't actually dispense anything) but nothing major. Breakfast was fine, not a massive choice but, for the price I can't complain, it was far better than some I've had in more expensive hotels. The biggest problem was the noise in the room from an industrial sized extractor fan on a wall right outside. It never stopped all night. I would have asked for another room but by the time I got there, late at night, I was too shattered to go back to reception.

A group of guest talking loudly and shouting in the corridor after 9pm for a good 30 mins on and off. Lift was also not working!!!

Overall our stay for 1 night was ok, however we are still experiencing high levels of Covid 19 infection and unfortunately the cleanliness in this hotel left a lot to be desired. The room including the bathroom in places didn’t look like it had seen a duster or a wet cloth.

Overnight stay for onward travel

Broken glass in the carpark made us feel our vehicle was insecure, there were several people just loitering around the building and the corridor we stayed on smelt very strongly of Cannabis.

Great hotel and location. Staff helpful. BUT the hotel fills itself with certain companies employees who misuse the hotel terribly. Very loud music all times of the night and morning. Slamming of doors. Rubbish bags in hallways and a very strong smell of marihuana in halls/corridors. Takes dogs but let down by those other people.shame

No complaints really. It was however a lot more expensive than when I stayed in August for 8 nights. The rooms can be a bit gloomy. I ordered a family room but we were given a double- luckily the Manager was able to find us a twin room, for which we are grateful

Was checked out twice before check out time and called a liar and made fun of by staff who told me I was making up the late check out on my booking despite having proof. Made even worse as I was staying with my sister and we were using the room to get ready for her Wedding day. Absolute disaster.
