There was a coachload of Belgians staying at the Ibis, so prices were inflated out of our reach, so we decided to stay at the Budget version. The welcome was great, The rooms are small, but adequate. Unfortunately ours smelled badly of cigarettes - this was either from a previous occupant or because it was directly above the entrance where all the sad people who ingest nictotine gather to indulge. The room was very clean, the bedding the same & comfortable with it. It was quiet & we got a good night's sleep. Great shower. Overall, a good experience which we would be tempted to repeat another time.

Easy check in. Simple but satisfactory room at budget hotel level. Free parking enclosed by a fence and gate which is closed overnight. (use code to get in and out if you need to out-with these times).

People smoking in corridors, drinking beer in the car park at midnight. Noisy, no masks being worn. Hard bed.

I was surprised at the breakfast arrangements. I understand being served from the buffet, but not why we then had to take the tray to our room to eat. With vaccination certificates it’s normal in France to be able to sit in a restaurant or cafe, so why not the breakfast area of the Ibis?

A bit surprised that we had to take breakfast to our room. With the Vaccination Certificate, I would have thought that it would have been easier for customers and the hotel for everyone to eat in the breakfast area. We had a problem with our room key code, which meant that it didn’t always work emmediately. As always, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel location is excellent for us.

A budget Ibis, so if you have stayed in one you know what to expect. The layout of the rooms and the way the place works are all broadly the same in my experience. This particular example was pretty shabby. I had a room on the third floor. The corridor carpet looked dirty and it appeared that the skirting around the bottom of the walls had been removed. The room was reasonably clean, but fixtures and fittings were loose and coming off the wall. The strap that secured the window from opening too far was missing, which could under certain circumstances be considered dangerous. The outside of the building also looked shabby and dirty and in need of a repaint, if not a full refurbishment. All in all not one of Accor's best

The room was clean. Unfortunately the walls were so thin that as soon as other people on the corridor got up, they woke me up at 6.30. The shower didn't have a proper shower head attachment so you had to hold it with one hand to get it to spray on you. The towels were thin and tiny so I had to use a. of them to dry myself. You couldn't help yourself to what you wanted for breakfast, you had to be served by the receptionist and then eat it on your knee in your bedroom. But the room was clean. Overall it was very expensive for what it was. There should have been a discount to the price for the lack of facilities, decent towels, a decent shower, a table to eat from and being woken up 2 hours earlier than my alarm.

As a one stay it was just passable. Smelly toilet. Drain smell in bathroom with shower head hanging off. Very noisy as we were the first bedroom in the corridor from reception. We have stayed at this hotel a few times before but standards have definitely got worse.

We had an all night party in the corridor outside our door. 20 or so young mixed race. We were frightened and worried. No security and no one in reception. Never again.

I stayed with my daughter last Thursday night. The room looked grubby and tired although the bedding was clean. Staff were pleasant. However the reason I will never stay there again was the noise. A group of around 20 young people of mixed origin were holding a party in the corridor outside our door until the early hours of the morning. We got no sleep and felt frightened and intimidated especially when one of them banged on our door. There is no phone in the room and no staff in reception after 10pm. Consequently no security to appeal to. We felt very alone. Never again!

I have used this place a lot in recent years, as a stop before using the tunnel. Sorry to say it, but it is looking very tired now, and the prices have gone up for no reason (not busy, for example). I guess like everyone they have struggled for business during Corona, but they certainly haven't used that time to refurbish.

I arrived quite late and the barrier was closed, so had to use the keypad call button. I'm not sure why this is necessary in view of the number of police vehicles on site...the best security deterrent, surely? In addition the inner door was locked, and it took a call to a remote assistant to establish that the room access code was to be used for entry into the main area. The hotel was noisy on this occasion, with loud voices around 1.00 am, then again at 5.30 am, so missed out on the good night's sleep I desperately needed.
