first room beds weren't done, second room the TV didn't work properly. Breakfast paid for had UHT milk, no proper milk, no coffee machine. Room significantly under standard, need cleaning and an URGENT refurb. See Gosford for decent standard of ibis rooms. Not really good enough. I am an Accor member.

Travelling to Qld and looking for somewhere simple to stop overnight for a break and we decided to stop at Coffs and thought we'd try the Ibis as we are Accor members. Knowing the Ibis brand is aimed at budget friendly stays and usually cheap and cheerful, this was cheap but certainly not cheerful. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the hotel itself is in dire need of a good clean and a lot of maintenance. There were scuffed walls, our bathroom had cracks in the floors were stained and there were bugs in the bathroom during the night. Definitely will be avoiding this in future and would recommend to anyone stay elsewhere until this place has had a major overhaul.

Our initial room was Room 20 - we should have read the reviews on here beforehand- seems like the cockroach problem still is a current issue in this room. The room itself was clean, although a strong smell of bleach was present. The woman on reception was super helpful and moved us to another room. This room was very clean and smelled ok, the bed was comfortable and other than not having any spoon to make coffee was ok. Plenty of parking and a small cafe for breakfast. It is a little tired, carpets a little thin, however it is a budget hotel and location ok.
