Hotel is well located and staff are always cheery polite and welcoming, the rooms are tired and need investment.

I go for a pot of tea on Saturday morning on my way to a meeting and am so looked after.Staff are wonderful.Lela and Jackie and other staff treat me so warmly.I look forward to staying.The hotel bar is beautiful and welcoming due to the staff being so helpful.Thankyou.I look forward to staying in the hotel.

Great location in Greenwich but some attention needed

Our family of 4 booked the Executive Suite for 2 nights over the weekend so we could experience Docklands whilst visiting London to see ABBA Voyage. The initial impression of the hotel was good but we started to get concerns when we were told that our room wasn’t ready an hour after normal check in time… We were offered a complimentary drink in the bar and the lovely lady on reception (Namita) called us over after about 20 minutes. However, it was apparent that housekeeping had rushed preparing the room. The 2nd toilet hadn’t been cleaned and there was no mattress topper on the converted sofa bed, leaving the springs exposed. I mentioned both to Namita again and she took care of them. In addition, the sink in the master bathroom didn’t drain properly and the reading light on one side of the bed was broken. I didn’t report these as we didn’t want repair men wandering around our room! We were 5 minutes late down to breakfast on the last day and arrived as they were clearing away. I asked if I could just get some pastries for the children- as they were still out - but was told no. A lovely young man helped me get some from the bar - but I observed other guests (including children) being shouted at by the person tidying when they went up in similar circumstances! Overall, I expected better from Novotel when booking the only executive suite.

Great location and lovely decor

We had a lovely time at The Novotel Greenwich. So well located especially for the o2 and river travel. We stayed as a family of 3 generations and were delighted for the car park, even if it is a little pricey, its no different to a car park in london for the night I guess. It was super convenient for us. Breakfast was great and the family rooms were perfect for us. Staff were lovely, there was just long delays on check in, not because of a queue but because my emails before the stay werent noted so we had to work on rooms being the right configuration but we got there in the end. All in all a really fab stay and perfect for our needs, Greenwich a short walk and lots to see and do. Thank you.
