I always select this hotel as my first option in Fortaleza even for business or fun with my family. This time I had a terrible experience with noise. The building is under maintenance and its it´s impossible to stay at room. The noise flows everywhere even on Saturday. This information should be available in Accor website during hotel reservation. My flight arrived at 2AM in Fortaleza ariport and we have tried to sleep but It was impossible due the continuous noise.

A walking distance from Miereles beach, in a posh area full of bar, restaurant, shops & shopping centre it is also just next door to travel tourism agency, two exchange services, banks and a car rental agency (Localiza). Situation is simply perfect. Try the italian restaurant in the same block, 50 meters on your right when exiting the hotel: Pizza Vignoli. The service itself at the hotel was a little bit below expectation - could be because of Covid (?) - swimming was pool closed without any clear explanation - maintenance (?)

This Mercure Fortaleza Meireles Hotel needs a renovation asap. Overall, the rooms, furniture, installations, bed, air-co, breakfast are all an embarrassment for Accor. Everything needs a shape-up. No value for money at all.

I love the hotel, tehe acommodations are great, crew and services are very good. Love the breakfat. I travel with my family and it`s the perfect place in Fortaleza for a 3 kids family. Good pool, gym and sauna.

The location of the hotel is not good, either for those traveling on holidays or for business travelers. The staff was very attentive and gracious from check in to check out. The welcome drink is very poor for those who have an Accor silver card compared to other Mercure hotels. The internet was bad because the signal disappeared every moment. The room poorly maintained. Breakfast with few options. Lots of noise on the street, even with the windows closed if you can hear them.
