hotel well prepared to receive guests in a pandemic era. Unfortunately, the majority of hotel guests disregarded maintaining distance and wearing masks . That was problem not only in the hotel but outside too

Comfortable family stay near ski resorts zakopane

Fast checkin and strategically located beside ski resorts and professional services given by the staff and I recommend this resort with new and beautiful rooms facing tatras with baby cot, nice grill restaurant and good breakfast the best part is also having water slide at the swimming pool, scheduled shuttle bus to town and with heater in the room

Arrived, checked in no problem. Room was comfortable and as per the photos. No air conditioning. First 2 nights stay was perfectly acceptable. 3rd and last day was a Saturday and during the afternoon several all male parties arrived and began hammering out loud music, shouting and smoking. Now this would not have been as much of a problem if there was air conditioning as I could have closed the windows - but there wasn't and couldn't have the windows open due to cigarette smoke billowing from the rooms on the floor below and room got extremely hot. Not great when you have been out since the early hours of the morning hiking. Noise went on until 8:30pm and started again at 5:30am. Excessive partying from 5:30am till 10am on Sunday morning. Hotel did nothing to control their guests and create an inclusive family environment for all of their guests. Complained, in writing - didn't even get a response. So I would recommend this hotel if your are a massive group of men who want to drink lots of beer and do whatever you like but I certainly wouldn't take my family again unless something changed. Last point - hotel automatically charges your credit card in your home currency and this adds just over 5% to your bill. Had to get a refund and pay in local currency. Need to make sure that if you have a zero currency fee card you insist on paying in local currency.

Overall ok stay. I had standard room and it's comfortable but not really nice - it's just old and has no atmosphere - that would be good but 20 years ago - now even simple private rooms are more cosy. Maybe the other rooms are better (at least they look better in hotel folder). There is plenty of space to park a car but it is paid (in my opinion should be free for hotel guests). Restaurant is nice a with good food, lobby and reception area also with beatiful decor. Staff ok, doing their job but without going behind towards more positive attitude. I may give this hotel a try again but with booking better room (or being upgraded when my status is changed).

Very nice location of the hotel, with the view of tatra mountains and just next to ski line on Szymoszkowa. Hotel is nicely equipped, renovated in the folcroric design, giving the mountain (góralską) atmosphere. The variety of food on bufet breakfast should satisfy various preferencess, both for main dishes, as well as fruit and vegetables. Restaurant serves delishious disches, but with small choice of fresh prepared on show cooking place.

Nice stay, spacious apartment, although the summers are already long past. Retro decor compensates window view, the helpful staff, amazing location of the hotel, excellent breakfasts and room rate promotion. I will definitely stay here again during my next stay in Zakopane, although I will rather choose one of the renovated rooms.

We arrived on sunday to the impression that we got the two worst rooms in the hotel. Extremely far from each other and obviously unwelcoming/. One of them was near a machine room. and its sound did not stop during the night.

A great welcome and a fruit package waiting for me in the room. The staff were very helpful. I was very helpful in late checkout. The minibus is right next to the cable car to Kasprowy wierch. Breakfast was a great choice of meals. A heated indoor pool and a dry sauna are included in the room rate. Beautiful.

I had problems in my room which I complained about every day but nothing was done. I sustained an injury because of my leaky shower making the floor wet & slippery. Reception staff just shrugged their shoulders and made empty promises. I have written an email of complaint but just received the standard reply! None of our rooms saw a cleaner for the duration of our trip (5 days)!

Great location, and after the renovation the hotel look amazing inside, as always got an upgrade to apartament as a platinium member, thank you very much and see you soon. Only one thing - why the rooms are not cleaned every day?

We booked a 3 night break through the Accor Le Club loyalty membership site for my wife's birthday and to soak up the typical pre Christmas atmosphere. what a bad mistake this was. the hotel rooms are terrible and in dire need of refurbishment. the wallpaper was grubby and the room felt dirty. there was building work taking place of which we were not pre warned of. On day of arrival we (4 adults) stood at reception with luggage and were totally ignored by staff on the desk who were talking amongst themselves and totally oblivious to us being there to check in. finally i was greeted with a stern YES. wow what a welcome. the reception area and public spaces were taken over by all of this on day 2 as the conference started and desks were placed in the main public area for people to register, along with large advertising boards. we ate breakfast the first morning which was ok but on day 2 we were told this would be held downstairs and to our horror we were sat with all the conference delegates in one large room. it was a scrum to get anywhere near the food and one can only compare it to a feeding frenzy at the zoo. ot was obvious the conference was priority as this was big money and other guests were forgotten about. the staff on reception had no idea of how to speak to guests. each time i approached the desk it was a case of YES. no good morning or can i help you sir. I speak a little Polish but they all spoke perfect English and understood. i would have liked to have been given the oppurtuinty to share my views on check out but i was not once asked if everything was alright or if we enjoyed our stay. instead i decided it would have been a waste and would rather do my own review so others can make their own decisions. the hotel could be a great place and i called in to it over 15 years ago for a meal and drink and thought one day i would like to stay, hence the reason for choosing. it is a taxi ride to the centre but with 4 of us it worked out at £1 each or 20 Zloty. with refurbished rooms and staff training it could be a lovely place but for now there are numerous other hotels in town cheaper and better, and I for one will not consider staying here again any time soon.

Good Location, hotel services not as expected

I stayed, for an early ski holiday. I found the hotel to be in a good location with real door to door skiing. The rooms were of a good mercure standard. The negatives about the stay. Found the service really inconsistent. Check in was as expected for a platinum accor member but the room service, bar, and reception disappointed after check in. For instance, asked about the room service menu to the reception as no menu in room. I was told I need to talk to the bar. The bar did have a menu but was very limited. Was given a complementary bottle of wine, but no cork screw. enquired at bar if I could have a cork screw and was told to bring the bottle down to be opened. Small things, but not what I expected. Probably the most shocking things of the stay, was I asked for a double shot coffee. the standard coffee price was on the high side for Poland but I was ok. But because I asked for a double shot, in this hotel it means I double the price. 22 zlty for a double shot flat white is getting on the high end even for London hotels. Would of made more use of the facilities if I hadn't been scared off by the coffee episode. The rooms lacked in room mini bar, and hair dryer was rather in effective. But in general were well fitted out, and comfortable. Although bed did have some sort of weird mattress protector and the heater made a ticking sound. Would I use this hotel again, Yes for the location to the ski field, view and balcony. room to improve yes especially in service.

This is our fourth time in this hotel but for this time we were very disappointed. Seems the standards goes down, making my mind to search for an other hotel next time. We all love Poland and specially Zakopane for it's wonderful landscapes, good foods, moderate prices and friendly people but the experience with this hotel was terrible for this time. At check-in, our request for connecting rooms was not met. Moreover we got rooms at different floors. People at the front desk need proper training. When talking to me they answer phone or talk to other guests which is not polite. The carpet in the room had dust, dirty and spots all over. The room was not properly cleaned in four days. The worst were the towels, looks grey and bad smelling. We asked to be replaced, received other but very poor too. I suppose during peak periods more staff should be request in the hotel.

We have had a good time for eight years.Staff on the front desk need more training.

The hotel is very nice. It is warm and comfortable and convenient for the slopes. The skiing is for beginners and families. We have stayed in the hotel for 8 years and had a good time. The problem is the front desk staff. We had asked by email for a transfer by the hotel bus from the airport to the hotel which did not turn up. This is the second time that this has happened to us. The first time was not a problem as it was early in the day and we got the service bus which was very cheap. This year it was late at night. The explanation was that they had picked up a family with the same name as us and had left us stranded at the airport. The explanation was very confusing and was the third explanation we got for the same event. We were collected by another bus company who had space for us. We used that company for all our needs that week. Front desk staff are not approachable at all. They sigh and groan when you ask them for any information or services. We have now been able to avoid the staff as much as possible. All other staff in the hotel are most welcoming. The start of the holiday did have a negative effect on the first few days but we managed to enjoy the rest of the holiday. The front desk staff made us stand at the desk for 1/2 hour at the end of the stay while they sorted out our final payment, which was 16 zloty (£3).The efficiency of the front desk is our only complaint about a holiday we have enjoyed for 8 years in a row.

despite the time chosen we found many shops open and a wonderful atmosphere in town.The shuttle bus was ideal. Our Hotel seemed to have all we needed and despite good trips out we ate in at night as the standard of food was so good and reasonably priced. Seating areas around the hotel made it relaxing to read,look at the views and you never felt in the way.The huge pool never seemed occupied so it was a perfect place to unwind after a good day out.

The hotel with great location offered what was needed for longer weekend stay with family. It has all what is needed to rest w/o bothering your mind. Great food, all amenities such such as swiming pool (indoor) as well as nearby outdoor water park. Children can enjoy animation and day care with professional supervision as well as a evening cinema entertainment during vaction season. The only thig missing was the air comditionned room.

Enjoyed every moment at this hotel.wonderful breakfast in a breakfast room with stunning view of the mountains.rooms were comfortable and cosy .would recommend this hotel and looking forward to visiting it again. Only problem was that the pool area was noisy because of swimming lessons

Very nice hotel, but a bit out of town (about a 15 minute walk). Good fitness facility. Nice room. Terrific breakfast spread, especially if you can get it included in your booking. Staff is proficient in English. (At least much better than my Polish.)

Have stayed at several Accor Group hotels and have never been disappointed, Mercure Kasprowy is no exception. The staff on arrival were very efficient, the rooms (we had 4) were all roomy and clean. Our Polish family who dropped us off were also impressed as, during the Communist regime this was the place to stay in Zakopane. It may be a little tired now but dont let this detract from staying as the views up the Tatra Mountains are stunning. Really wish we could've stayed for more than one night, but we were on a very short stay in Poland. Two matters of slight criticism..my wife and I both hate plastic shower curtains, and the hotel is a reasonable distance, but gentle walk from the town centre..however the taxi fares are extremely reasonable.
