Good…. Breakfast was predictable. It was not until I overhead other guests ask for specific items that I had no idea I could do that. So, on occasion, I asked for specific food. Improvement…. Sometimes, housekeeping did not clean my room and I had to ask for items or service. One the housekeeping staff gave me a sigh, and although the entire time she claimed to not speak English, she said to me “you just want everything.” Found it unproductive. A different housekeeper raised her voice at me and I told her I didn’t speak Polish and she kept on talking to me in a loud voice. Other staff intervened and it never happened again. I paid several bills at the counter. Apparently, someone charged something from the restaurant to my room and it was not me. Yet, this employee asked me several times (?). I paid every time I visited the restaurant but the attitude from the staff was not trustworthy. I also asked specific information to be in the bill but the employee who did not believe me when I said I didn’t charge anything to my room stated it could not be done but I found someone who could help me. People smoking by the front door all the time, and sometimes the doors were left open. One time, there was a large bag left by the front door. When I asked the staff about it they almost acted like it was not their problem. I was concerned for my safety because it may have been a bomb. But they said they would find the owner. This would not my first choice but I would go back now that I know what to expect. I was not entirely comfortable but it was not that bad for me to leave.

Very pleasant stay at Mechre Poznan. Very clean and staff super professional and friendly Breakfast was amazing. High quality food with lots of choice for meat eaters and veggies Only slight moan is our aircon seemed to only pump out warm air so room very very warm Not a criticism of hotel but police and ambulance sirens 🚨 very loud at night due to proximity of road. Cheap earplugs rectify this problem though..

Excellent location, close to train station as well as to tram and bus stop with very good connection to other part of the city. Rooms specious and clean. Staff at the reception very helpful.
