Very clean. All staff very polite and helpful. Standard rooms are excellent value for money. Breakfast very good, eggs any way you like. Location great for the old town, bus routes and train station. Would not hesitate to go back.

Overall very good only one small complaint waiting time for food in winestone restaurant needs addressing. On October 18 and19 lunchtime 1pm we were kept waiting for 30mins and 45mins for club sandwiches when we were the only people in there the food when it did arrive was very good.

Friendly staff, and nice but a bit dated rooms. The view we had on the 7th floor was outstanding. The bar is a nice place to relax after a day of walking. Breakfast was ok. To much heavy food and not really my taste...bread was good but missed some more fresh options.

The hotel is perfectly located next to the old town and the view from the room was great. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast very varied and good. The only suggestion for improvement is that the restaurant should be bigger.

Overall it was OK, but two things made the visit to Gdańsk worse than expected. It smell of cigarettes in the room, all the time. As if the smell was coming out of ventilation system. On top of that door to connecting room we're open and there was somebody else booked there! How unprofessional is that?

Excellent breakfast. Comfortable rooms that have everything. They check all the boxes. Ironing facilities, fridge, shelf for soap in the shower, safe-box, good size of shower room, shelf for personal items in the bathroom, luggage rack. Most hotels miss two-three of these things, this hotel have them all.

Good location of the hotel but in my opinion higher standard should means higher standard... maybe higher standard means good view trough the window which was great but I paid for higher standard of the room not view. I didn't receive invoice even I ask for this document before my stay and worst thing is comunication betwen Hotel and customer, telephone line was horrible actually didn't work for me because no one answer (many times).

After an average stay (it is a known hotel chain), there was a problem with the check-out. Because I needed to leave very early (before breakfast opened), I ordered a breakfast box for pickup at 4:45. This was noted down on a sheet of paper. As I arrived at the reception at this time, nothing was prepared and the staff was not able to prepare one short term. As the buffet was partly prepared already, the receptionist told me to help myself. At least they provided a paper bag and bottled water. But the buffet was not made to prepare something for takeaway. This is not the service level I expect from a 4 star hotel. It is overdue for 2021 to replace the paper stuff (which obviously nobody reads) with a digital solution which allows task tracking, alerts and escalations.

Bad mattress Bad and repeated breakfast everyday during 8 days Cleaning room only on request but they don’t tell you at the reception at your arrival so you will ask when you notice that there is no room service For ironing clothes you have to go to the 9th floor the last room in your left and do it by yourself

The hotel was clean, the food was great, many options for breakfast, very close to the main attractions from the Old Town and very close to the train station. We stayed for 5 nights. The receptionists were really friendly and helpful.

My room was cold from the beginning. I asked from reception to do something as air conditioning system was making it more cooler. (September). They spoke with management to see if a portable heater was available. Finally I got another blanket !! But the problem was not at sleep, but all the time that I was in my room.

It's not a 4 star hotel - currently(COVID) don't take it

Rooms with leaking showers, breakfast is a mistake - cheapest ingridients - ham,old bread, lactosfree only milk, no lactosefree yogurt, no lactosefree chees. No roomservice during my 3 night at hotel. It was suprise for me after seeing previous reviews.

The high-rise hotel building is 40 years old but renovated to modern Mercure standards. The reception staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our privilege room was spacious and had good views of the city. All the amenities worked well except for the coffee maker which did not work at all. The buffet breakfast was good and we could order additional items, such as eggs any style, which were not in the buffet spread. We also enjoyed complimentary welcome drinks in the lobby restaurant bar.
