The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and the rooms were very spacious. Only stayed 2 nights but the room was cleaned after the first night. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a beautiful 5 night stay at this hotel and couldn’t fault it. Well located near the metro station just around the corner, and convenient store at your foot step. Customer service is spot on and breakfast buffet is amazing. Will definitely be staying here again.

It was a pleasant experience staying at this hotel. When we arrived on the first day, the front-desk staff was very nice and showed good hospitality. He first had a small chat with us, then introduced us to the basic information about Rome, such as the closing times of the metro, and the location of the tourist spots. He even gave us a map. The room was clean and tidy and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was ok, not too many food choices available but was acceptable.

I have been in the Mercure Piazza Bologna on multiple occasions, and I have always been treated as a special guest. However, this time I was thoroughly disappointed. I was given a top floor room in a particularly hot day, and to my surprise I saw that the A/C was not working, hence the room was like a glasshouse, hot and discomfortable. When I went to the Reception to inquire about the A/C, I was told that there was no other room available, but I was being a guest only one night (as in: for one night, it's ok to suffer a bit). The only option I was offered was to open some windows while out, which was not ideal. What is even worse, I was told that the A/C was not connected at all, which is unacceptable, since I should at least have been informed...
