The hotel is located in an area close to where we needed to go and that is why we chose it. It was a good choice and all in all we could enjoy a pleasant, comfortable stay with rich and varied breakfast.

Nice hotel conveniently located at the centre of Bucharest. The rooms are large with good facilities, but somewhat dated. The breakfast was good. The only matter of concern was that I was asked in the hotel to pay again for my stay, although I had already prepaid when I booked the room. My credit card was not charged twice, but due to the difference in the exchange rates between the time of booking and the time of stay I ended paying a bit more than the initial amount quoted.

The room was warm and there was good wifi, but there were some issues with the hygiene: one pillow case had some spots (looked like mold?!), Two bath towels had the label ripped off and looked very worn off. Also, buying the ticket was confusing: the initial email says the whole amount is prepaid, so I was expecting a charge on my credit card, but at the front desk I had to pay again.

Good for a short stay

The room was extremely noisy, the window seems to have some free room around it so even with the window closed, the street noise reach us through this space around the window. I'm not sure about the acoustic insulation quality of the window itself because the noise came in strongly through this gap around the window. The shower was a really bad experience because the water change suddenly from cold to hot every minute or so. Beside this issues the staff was nice, welcoming and very helpful, room was clean and warm enough and the location is just perfect.

Overall the room was good; quiet and comfortable. Location was near the railway station which was the main thing for me. Only irritation was the check-in where a large group was standing around the check-in desk while cards were being handed out and it was not obvious whether I should push through to the desk or whether this was a queue. Turned out to be the former, but more proactive staff would have helped.
