A very nice stay in a hotel that had embraced the challenges of the pandemic. A clean and pleasant stay, even the food choices were good and the staff remained professional throughout. I will return even if the madness is not over yet.

There is nothing like convenience when booking a hotel for a cross-channel trip, and Ibis Coquelles Tunnel sous la Manche fits the bill. However this hotel may be in need of an update and a deeper cleanse than the norm. The Air Extraction system is tired and quite noisy but the long distance travel overrode this issue. The return trip my wife dropped an earring down the sink waste. As the plastic waste was a simple plastic screw fitting, I was able to undo the fitting and recover the earring, HOWEVER the waste was COMPLETELY blocked with hair and black sticky and smelly slime. I could not leave it in this state, so with care I removed the offending blockage, and replaced the fitting in a clean state. Naturally I felt it necessary to inform the management due to the cleanliness aspect, for which they were grateful. I must stress that this was a hidden problem, that would not be apparent in normal circumstances.

We stay at this hotel several times a year and it never lets us down. Even in these difficult times we were welcomed by the friendly staff and more than satisfied with our room. The biggest asset of this hotel is the staff who are always pleased to welcome you and provide excellent service. On our most recent visit the hotel was all but deserted and the restaurant was closed due to the current covid situation but the lady that checked us in also made us a snack meal for our dinner. She was very friendly and helpful.

We often use this hotel, that are coping really well with the social distancing, food is a bit hit and miss, but it doesn't matter because Cite De Europe is next door. My only complaint is that I would have liked to have had a hand towel in the bathroom.

I broke my journey here on the way from Belgium to Hampshire via the Channel Tunnel. There was ample parking at the rear of the property (the overflow car park is used as a base by the French riot police, but this wasn't an issue). When I entered the hotel, the receptionist was busy disinfecting the counter and assured me she would be with me promptly, which she was. Check-in was smooth; the room was standard ibis (clean, relatively spacious, working air conditioning); and I got a good, quiet night's sleep. Breakfast was well organised to ensure minimal contact and good distancing from staff and other guests. The hotel restaurant was closed for dinner but there were a couple of decent options nearby. The only snag, as others have mentioned, is the well-used smoking area by the entrance. One word of advice: when getting to the hotel, it is very close to the entrance to the Channel Tunnel terminal, but on leaving, if you follow the signs for the tunnel, you get sent round a one-way system and back on to the motorway, so allow sufficient time to catch your shuttle if that's what you are doing.

I can fault this Ibis Hotel - especially in the difficult circumstances. It was very clean and they had taken an extensive menu for room service. Staff helpful as they always are. We stay at this hotel at least six times a year and would not stay anywhere else.

Found the outside area which a number of people including me were having there paper bag breakfast needed cleaning, cigarette butts, ash trays and beer glasses from previous day/night hadn't been cleared/cleaned...

The overall condition of inside as always was very good . But very disappointed with the seating outside . With the breakfast being Takeaway because of Covid precautions a lot of people sat outside us included . When we went for a table & chairs we first had to clear away glasses used night before by those drinking outside & the ground was covered in nub ends left by the huge amount of Smokers (French police) The bin outside the main door was full to the brim with rubbish & cigarette ends falling out ........ not the best welcoming site in the world. I also had to report that my si k was blocked Lowered what I Class as a very nice Hotel . I stay often , but was disappointed this time .

Stayed before a shuttle crossing, 2/3mins drive to Eurotunnel - very convenient. Parking to the rear - I’d requested a space (didn’t have to) and was allocated a room next to the car park. I was able to park directly in front of my window for added security. COVID-19 meant there was clear signage and barriers around the reception. Check-in was contactless and there was hand sanitiser at key points throughout. Hotel was very quiet - my dog stayed with me and wasn’t up all night like in other places we’ve stayed. There are a few options for food nearby within walking distance (restaurant was closed for dinner). I didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment. Bed was extremely comfortable. There was air conditioning which was a lovely bonus! Will make this hotel my choice going forward for any future visits.

Really great location for Eurotunnel, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the hotel has good social distancing measures in place. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

We have stayed here many times. Always comfortable efficient service. Staff work hard to make you feel welcome. Breakfast good value. Only minutes from Eurotunnel and the Cite of Europe. Good restaurants within walking distance or on site.

Very comfortable stay, nice to see the hotel has been modernised. Great meal, very helpful staff. Ideal to stop over for the eurotunnel. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and other travelers.

Location could not be better or easier to find. Safe parking and area. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room itself clean but would describe as basic, no kettle or other facilities. For the money not bad value.

Excellent location for shuttle terminal and a multitude of shops. Friendly staff, good secure parking. Only thought the armchairs are a little tired. have used the hotel several times with out a single complaint.

Ever so friendly staff. Personally I prefer to eat out but the food in the restaurant is reasonable. Nice to see water and coffee reinstated in the rooms and you can't beat there showers. The only thing that lets this hotel is fan above the door still noisy.
