The hotel location is great. It is a short walk to the city center and the train station. The room was clean, and housekeeping was available every day. It has a cozy bar and restaurant serving a good selection of food and drinks. We had the vegan burger, which was delicious. We were a little disappointed with the reception staff - it took them three days to resolve an issue with our inactive key card, until one friendly gentleman from the maintenance team decided to change the faulty door lock. One receptionist was even unnecessarily impolite to listen to our inconvenience. All in all, a good hotel for value, but could be great with more helpful staff.

Stopped Wednesday 17th December. Have stayed before but not for a while. The room was a superior one on the top (6th) floor. Room was comfortable. Bed, very comfortable. Had planned to eat out but decided to give the Soapbox restaurant a try on account of the weather. I'm on a gluten free diet now so eating anywhere can often be complicated (and limited) I had a Lamb main (GF) which I found super tasty. My wife's non GF dish was very good too. The staff in the Soapbox were very helpful and accommodating. Had Breakfast the next day and found a range of items that I could eat including sausages (not always the case in hotels). Again staff there were very helpful. Only negatives from our stay was that the room felt cold. (we fiddled with the aircon but it didn't make much difference) Only other gripe was that we tried to play some movies from a hardrive by connecting it to a USB plug near to the TV. The TV wouldn't connect up to it. Chromecast would be a good option...That said, we enjoyed the stay

A haven of great service & comfort. Immaculately turned out, and everything from the rooms, to the breakfast, to the front of house staff all make it a great choice to stay in Leeds. Credit to all their hard work and its definitely my preferred choice of hotel. Look forward to next time.

Very enjoyable hotel. Only 2 ways to improve 1 Put litter bins in garage 2 Make outside front door parking spaces and ensure SUVs park there rather than underground Also why not send a text when a room is ready so people can go in early if they want

Good location clean rooms Stayed one night, check out 12pm on Sunday. At 9.30am knocking on the door twice Answered male cleaner asking/ wondering if we had left. Found this unsettling and rushed/rude at 9.30am on a weekend morning. If I was alone in the room would have felt very uncomfortable with this. Surely on check out day should be left to check out first before cleaner trying to enter room.

Friendly front desk staff Room was clean and had everything I could need Next day, it was so unbelievably noisy! By 6am the road noise, noise from neighbouring rooms & the hall way was enough to wake me and keep me awake. Also, at 11am (check out is at 12) the cleaning team let themselves in while I was still in the room!!

Excellent Customer Service and care for a couple who required accessible facilities. Breakfast food in the restaurant was extensive and good. Well done! The hotel would have achieved a score of 10 but some kind soul parked their car blocking my car in the car park and it took me 45 minutes to gradually get my car out.

Nice relaxing stay in a conveniently located hotel for all city centre amenities. Parking is quite expensive and breakfast room is a bit mental if you arrive after 9am on a weekend, but all staff were very pleasant and professional

Had a great stay in the Novotel Leeds. It’s a lovely clean & comfortable hotel with a lovely restaurant & bar area.Well situated near major road routes & also 5 minutes walking distance to the station & into town. Hotel has a chargeable car park. Great choice of hot & cold breakfast buffet. Ritual toiletries in bathroom, plus a small fridge in room. Had a great nights sleep. Fab customer service. Definitely would stay again & would recommend this hotel.

Cleaners around very early on the Sunday morning waking people up as they cleaned other peoples rooms on the floor. Breakfast really busy with limited items available. Chef abrupt when checking food on buffet, no eggs or hashbrowns for a while. Finished breakfast before more came out.

The carpet under the dressing table was really really dusty. It obviously it hasn't been hoovered for a long time. The walls were also covered in dust. It felt really unclean.
