Novetel is one of my go to hotels when undertaking business travel. However, some changes that have Bern made are short sighted. The removal of hair conditioner is unacceptable and impacts more females then males. This decision needs to be reversed. The lack of room service after 10pm meant I went out for food. Also removal of biscuits on environmental grounds, should be replaced with a reception fruit basket. Instead items have been removed, and these items are the reason why I book Novotel. Its not close to my office but I travel out of my way to gain the extra bit of luxury which has now been removed.

Having stayed in several Novotel's in different places, I have to say I was pleasant surprised and pleased with my recent stay at Novotel London Bridge. The hotel lobby design gave a very fun, modern industrial feel. I arrived late in the evening, hence the Front Desk could not offer me the upgraded room immediately. This was arranged the very next day to my surprise. The designs of the rooms were typical of Novotel across the different countries. Location was acceptable, the nearest tube. station was about 10 mins walk away. There were nearby restaurants and eateries so on the whole, it's rather convenient. Borough market is just around the corner.

welcome at reception great check in fast then delayed for 10 mins while receptionist obsessed with whether i am a member or not - i know i am but dont care about the points! opened room door to dirty pillow case on the floor - think it was dropped by cleaner on exit the biggest problem is the air conditioning is useless. on min temp and max fan speed it is like your grandma blowing in your ear from 20 miles away - pointless. so you open the window and then the city noise means no sleep also think for the price per night that there should at least be some biscuits alongside the water in the room (as Hilton do with shortbread)
