The hotel was being renovated during our stay so some facilities including the pool were closed. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size with everything that we needed and the beds were comfortable. Great selection at breakfast and good quality food. We particularly liked the rooftop area.

The hotel is well situated in near to the center and the staff are really nice. But I'm honestly completely disappointed with the stay. Firstly, the climate control inside the room is not available, as they told me it is not the season and I should just open the window. Being a 4-star hotel, this is a minimum expectation and I obviously pay for the luxury and experience, but not to just open my Windows. Second, the Mini-bar is completely empty and was not prepared. I have already pre-booked my room, and I expect my room to be replenished. But unfortunately, that was not the case. And there was no complimentary water as well. These are some basic standards that are meant to be maintained in multi-star hotel.

Regarding the room temperature control, due to the current season and lower outdoor temperatures, our climate system has been adjusted from cooling to heating to ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests. We understand that temperature preferences vary, and we always recommend opening the windows for additional airflow. However, our team is happy to assist with any additional comfort requests. As for the minibar, our rooms are equipped with refrigerators for guests\' convenience, while fully stocked minibars are available in our Executive rooms. Complimentary drinking water is accessible 24/7 on every floor, offering chilled sparkling, chilled still, and room-temperature still water. These filtered water stations not only ensure unlimited access at any time but also align with our commitment to sustainability by reducing plastic waste. Should you prefer bottled water, we are happy to provide it upon request. We also acknowledge your concerns regarding breakfast. While currently served in the Ibis restaurant due to renovations, we have taken extra steps to maintain Novotel’s breakfast standards. We would greatly appreciate your feedback on what you felt was missing so we can continue improving our offerings. Once again, we regret that your stay was not as expected and appreciate your insights. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with a better experience. The hotel is in a great area. It's just down the street from the National Museum and a quick tram ride away from Old Town. Nice restaurants and cafes nearby as well! Staff is great. Super friendly, and answered all of our questions. Breakfast was really good too! Tons of options.
