This is a very good place to stay if you want to pay a short visit to Luebeck, in our case one day along the way to another destination. Just 15 minutes on foot to the centre. The road before the hotel is quite busy, but much less so in the evening and night. No breakfast due to corona, but there are plenty of bakeries in the city which serve excellent breakfast.

Well located and automated for late arrival.

I know it’s a budget hotel, but prior to my stay I received an email stating how much focus Accor has on hygiene and cleanliness in these corona times. And in that light I found the room quite dirty. On top of the door frame to the toilet hadn’t been cleaned for months and the holder for the toilet paper was also quite dirty and apparently hadn’t been cleaned for weeks.

Excellent place to stay overnight to get early start for forther travel next morning - but no info was given that there was NO breakfast possible!? Why no info?? We has reserved breakfast - there was no written info in the hotel lobby either. Just in the morning a lady at the reception telling this and not very politely... no " sorry" even.

The floor was dirty at room 121. It showed that only bedclothes were changed and thats it. There were no soap in the bathroom. Hello, it is Corona Time! And The wall on The bathroom was disgusting. I did not get message that breakfast was not available.

I was very pleased. Friendly personnel. I also think the architect who designed the building did a good job. Curtains are difficult to close (one clip loose in room 401). I would appreciate some additional hangers and a hook for coats.

For a short stay 1 a perfect place to be ! The room was clean and had all the necessary items. The breakfast was good and nothing more could be expected. Certainly a place where to return when travelling in the area.

I have always been using this hotel since it was opened as an Etap. Now it was a while ago and the bathrooms have been renovated and changed. No bad impression. Clean sheets, room tidy and a bed for the stay - that is all what we need. I think the whole system with checking in through the website and also do it through the kiosk at the entrance works perfect.

Have stayed many times at IBIS Budget Luebeck City Sued. The rooms are modernized in particular the toilet / shower. Very good! The reception gave us a room close to the traffic in the round-about. We would have liked to open window, but could not due to traffic noise. But the air condition worked.
