Working over the Christmas and New year period is always a bit hard for me especially when I'm a bit closer to home than normal, but thanks to you remaining open and being covid secure I got to see my husband and get a couple of hours of uninterrupted really precious daytime sleep which was amazing before I had to be back on site for another shift. Thank you so much.

We’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times & always find the staff very helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 22 which was a lot nicer than any of the rooms we’ve stayed in before.

Textbook stay in these strange times - only drawback was the room smelled of cigarette smoke. However, this was more than offset by the lovely staff member who posted back my phone charger I'd left plugged in in my room...

Booked 3 rooms for business stay cut a long story short. 1st Room booked.. They said they had given the room to someone else, waited an hour then they made a mistake they hadn't given it to someone else, 2nd Room booked company sent pre paid details they charged the customer , 3rd Room booked they said they had no booking, All these guest turned up with their booking ref in hand ??

I have no problem with the hotel itself but there is a big drug smoking problem in the hotel. I always request an end room to try and get away from the smell as much as possible but the hotel stinks of weed. I'm not 100% against Cannabis but I don't want to smell it every night when I'm in bed. Virtually every night it can be smelt in the hotel. Considering it is supposed to be none smoking let alone drugs this is a bit of a joke really. I don't expect the girls on reception to confront people about this but it but something should be done as it's rife and is not pleasant for the rest of the guests.

When Housekeeping reports it to me I personally ask the guest to leave the Hotel and place them on the black list. My stay was ok, but when I arrived it was the day before the second lock down and as I checked in the staff were a little confused with the new paper work. I handed over all my details of my reservation and car details. My car details were not registered into the system and now I am fighting a claim for my vehicle being in the carpark unlawfully which is very disappointing and frustrationing when this information was clearly gived to staff on my arrival.

I stayed in what I was told was the recently refurbished room, I wondered when it was to be finished as there were 2 cracked floor tiles in the bathroom, the tiles on the step were uneven and the grouting brown, the extension cube was laid on the table but was heavy enough to pull the kettle off the table, the design of the lights above the bed had no thought put into them as the cable hung down from the ceiling in front of the headboard and if you hung them on the top hook the bottom hook was in the way also the skirting board had huge scratches along them. I'd have the workmen back in to finish.

Extremely long check in process including COVID etc (compared to premier inn/travel lodge etc) Booked for 2 people, only one set of towel, only one coffee and not enough milks Room not as clean has expected

Hotel was clean basic. Only had whole milk and 2 pots in room could have done with more. The offered food due to local places being shut. It was very expensive for the poor quality of food. Very little vegetarian options on the menu.
