The hotel was booked for March 2020 for an event at Santa Pod which was cancelled for coronavirus The hotel allowed us to move the date to October which the event ran at Santa Pod the hotel was clean and tidy and conformed to restrictions and made us feel safe .. the downside was no cooked breakfast which is normally good this was originaly booked sadly under restrictions this was not going to happen the carry out breakfast bag just didn't work for me

Very friendly staff very efficient check in. All staff where helpful pleasant and polite. Rooms are very comfortable. I have been using the hotel for work locally for 7 weeks and now achieved Platinum business status. A big thanks to all your staff.

I will always prefer to speak to a member of staff, especially when booking acommodation. The staff at Ibis Wellingborough are friendly and helpful, We have stayed there many times over the past 8 years as a base to visit my elderly mother. The manager Marco has been particularly helpful. We have noticed though that the cooked breakfast has deteriorated in recent years - the scrambled eggs especially - the rest is fine though.

Staff weren’t as friendly as they were when I visited last year and it was the same member who last year couldn’t do enough to help but this visit there was chat just book you info you have a car no I don’t ok. I know these are difficult times and social distancing is causing problems but a bit of conversation. Would have made a difference

Great stay but just a couple of small issues. We were staying for 3 nights and in the room was only 2 teabags, sugar and coffee. It would be alot easier if more were put in the room as we then had to go to reception and ask for more when we were trying to stay in the room as much as possible. Also if we were told when we booked that there would only be paper cups for drinks we could of brought our own to use.

This is my second visit to the hotel and it was as expected. The member of staff at the front desk was welcoming and courteous. The room was spacious and clean. We didn't stay for breakfast as our plans didn't allow.

The hotel was well situated fairly close to my work. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem was the need to repeatedly request for the room access card to be validated, requiring fitting a facemask and going to Reception.

All good, slightly disappointed to find the pub/restaurant opposite open and supplying meals after being told by your receptionist it was closed!!! with 2 adults and 3 children to feed.
