The stay was great. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was large and well presented, with a lovely welcome gift for both us and our small dog. Unfortunately, due to the extremely cold and snowy weather the car park became a skating rink and very hazardous when trying to go out and back to the hotel or move the car. We even noticed that there was no gritting for disabled customers, even though the hotel has excellent facilities on one level for disabled guests. I would be very wary of staying at the hotel again in snow or ice, which is a shame as we have used this hotel a number of times as it is well placed for visiting relatives.

My gripe was the poor quality thin mattress which was all rucked up on one side and pillows that were too soft and flat. Poor quality

The rooms where all on the same floor as requested and fairly close to each other, the breakfast was well stocked and was great that it was available later. The rooms where lovely and comfortable. Hotel was well situated for what we required. The staff went above and beyond, especially when we where worried about being trapped by the snow, they were all friendly and very helpful.
