We met as a group of 3 friends wanting somewhere in a good location to explore Saltaire & (bit further away) Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The Ibis in Shipley was perfect! Very friendly, warm reception inc easy & free car parking, clean & comfortable rooms & very good value for money.

This was our first stay in your hotels and we were both left disappointed staying at the hotel. it would have been much better , had it not been for a wedding party came back from the wedding and decided to party and drink till 4.30am on the Sunday morning and kept myself and my partner up till it all went quiet at around 4.30am / 5am Because of this happening, it spoiled our Sunday stay as we were so tired due lack of sleep. we were staying in room 3 , which is near to the reception , where the party was going on. i thought the staff could have asked them to keep the noise down, or at the very least , closed the corridor doors to keep the noise down. we had plans for Sunday, but due to being tired due the night`s before reception party and noise. we decided to stay in our room. but other than that, our stay was ok. The staff could not be more helpful during the day , but we feel we were let down by the nighttime staff. rooms were good, beds ok. not to comfortable though. i don't think i would recommend the hotel, if this is what we will have to look forward to. sorry.

Unexpected Disturbance

Whilst the hotel was of its usual good standard, I was woken at 2.00 a. m. by a lady entering my room and switching on the light. On investigation , the hotel staff told me that it was somebody who was confused about which was her room. Nevertheless it was an unpleasant and unwarranted experience.
