I have stayed at this hotel several times. I like that you can choose a view of the Meuse (river) when you book. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff are very friendly. The bar had a good choice of drinks available, and there is a terrace bar where you can sit outside.

We had a lovely stay in Dinant and the location of the hotel added significantly to our enjoyment. If there is one thing that detracted from this, it was the presence of smokers in and around the hotel. There was a lovely view of the river on the verandah at breakfast, or any other occasion outside, which was ruined when people came and sat near us and blew smoke everywhere. If there had been a specific area for this, that may have helped. Also, to get to our cars, or just walk outside, we had to pass smokers who would congregate outside the hotel entrance. Whilst we support their right to smoke, I feel we had to put up with it and it was rather unpleasant.

It was a nice stay

The ibis Dinant is indeed conveniently located next to the river and a short walk from the town's attractions, which many of our guests appreciate. However, we apologize for any inconvenience you faced during your interactions with the travel agent and our hotel. We understand that seamless coordination is integral to a satisfactory experience and we will look into how we can improve our processes. Regarding the room size, although all our rooms are the standard 18sqm in total, we strive to ensure they are comfortable and well-equipped for our guests. We regret to hear that the room did not meet your Gold member expectations. Additionally, we are sorry for the oversight regarding the invoicing process; this is not indicative of the high level of service we aim to provide. Nonetheless, we hope that the overall quality of your stay was enhanced by our dedicated 24-hour reception team and the modern amenities of our renovated hotel. Nice room with view of the river

It is wonderful that the room with its view of the river added to the enjoyment of your stay. However, we recognize the convenience a kettle in the room can provide. Our hotel design focuses on essential comforts, and while we do not offer kettles in the rooms, we do provide a 24-hour bar service where hot and cold drinks are available. We understand this is not the same as the comfort of preparing a drink in your own room and we appreciate you sharing this preference with us. Nonetheless, we are pleased that you enjoyed our freshly baked croissants as part of your breakfast experience.
