I stayed here for 9 nights but needed to change rooms after 3 because of the noise coming through the connecting door of the adjoining room. Why I was offered such a room in the first place beggars belief given my loyalty status. The outlook from both rooms was of some dull looking back of an adjacent building. The breakfast and accompanying service was decidedly average for a Sofitel – not a patch on similarly branded hotels in Asia Pacific. The only advantage of the hotel is its location but that alone does not justify the price. The service and food quality needs improvement.

We had an exceptional stay. Girls weekend with 3 generations in tow. The entire staff at Sofitel St. James was very welcoming, warm and inviting. Special thanks to Eduard! My LO did include you in her school journal. Lunch at Wild Honey was delicious. The hotel is beautiful; stately on the outside, modern and comfortable on the inside, and not overwhelming. Daily fresh apples at the front desk was a wonderful bonus. The hotel is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for a brief walk to the action - multiple tube stations to choose from, Chinatown for late night snacking, theatre district around the corner, etc. We did use The Hotel Collection benefits program which came in quite handy. Looking forward to our next visit!

We enjoyed a wonderful short Easter break at the St James. The hotel is elegant and well located but what makes our stays always excellent is the warm, friendly service provided the whole team at the hotel.

The Sofitel St. James London exceeded all expectations with its prime location in the heart of the city. The immaculate cleanliness throughout the property was impressive, and I was particularly grateful for the thoughtfully designed accessible room featuring a well-equipped roll-in shower that perfectly met my needs. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a delightful variety of culinary delights. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service from both the attentive breakfast staff and the knowledgeable concierge team, who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. A truly first-class hospitality experience from start to finish.
