ibis Glasgow City Centre - Sauchiehall Street Hotel 3 stars

I was impressed by the breakfast! We loved the room and especially the bed!!!! The staff was really nice and the housekeeping very friendly !

For a night it was lovely so much so I have booked to stay again next month April good facility's the guide dog was made very welcome

Everything went perfectly . Lovely room , lovely breakfast , lovely staff,handy parking . Great value .

I arrived around noon and just inside the door was a big crowd of people. I wasn’t even sure I was in the right place, there is a small sign that let you know it is the reception. I was met by Billy who was very helpful and, even though I had pre-arranged to drop off my case as I would be out to late in the evening, he found me a recently cleaned room and let me check in. After dropping off my bag in the room, I returned to reception to see the crowd of people climbing on the bus to leave. It was a lot easier to see the lay out and what to do when it’s quieter. When I returned, I got a good look look at the room which was clean and well laid out. The bed was comfy. If I had to nit-pick the shower could be more powerful and I had to really search for the toilet paper - it was hidden behind the towels hanging under the sink. But these didn’t spoil the experience. My one real issue was the noise from the corridor carried right into the room. I’m hoping it was just my bad luck and it was a noisy night. Check out was simple and I was guide through everything by email. I didn’t eat in the restaurant mainly because I couldn’t find a menu anywhere, either online or in the in room paperwork. With the other good uses of technology it does seem to be a bit of a missed trick. I was looking for a cheap overnight hotel and for the price it was a magnificent deal.

After having an awful experience with our Airbnb accommodation we had to book a hotel very very last minute. For being a big group of girls we were having a nightmare finding somewhere to take us but thankfully ibis could. The staff were unbelievably friendly, kind and caring to us. Even went over and above to set up a cute little area for my friends 21st so we could have drinks and cake in the bar area. The rooms were perfect for us with plenty of plugs and space to get ready. Absolutely loved our stay and made our trip to Glasgow 100x better. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will definitely be back!

Overall pleased and room was a good price. Room was a bit tatty - the bathroom door didn't close properly because the hinge was a little loose, and the bathroom extractor fan didn't work. Not that bad, but in our case the bathroom smelt of cigarettes, which was a bit gross. Nice staff, and in general good value experience.

Online check-in was easy and made arrival process very quick and simple. Staff were efficient and very helpful on arrival and departure.

Clean rooms, flexible staff. Good location. Their breakfast is very diverse, although the fruit salad was from a day or so before.

Friendly and efficient staff. Room was quite small but was fine for an overnight stay. Bed was a good size, and comfortable. Heating and aircon system wasn't working in our room but it wasn't a problem for us. The bathroom door didn't close properly but again this wasn't a problem for us. Room and bathroom were both clean and tidy. Good value for money for a city centre hotel

Annual 4 nights attending exhibition at SEC. My colleague for whom I made the booking had to move rooms due to water coming through bathroom ceiling. WAs promptly moved but too 4th floor where button to summons lift was out of action so he had to go to 3rd or 5th floor to summons lift. We both had problems with room key cards which had to be reprogrammed at reception. Ordered coffee at 10pm one evening in bar. Staff got distracted by other customers....took 2o minutes to arrive! Staff waived charges for it and apologised.....no problems with way situation was dealt with. Just wonder if despite refurbished rooms economies are being made to detriment of brand and customers. If it wasnt for free on street parking outside this hotel (indeed on 2 evenings immediately outside the door!) 6pm to 8am I would consider using Travelodge.

Really great value, centrally located and a good sized room. Slept great, and woke fully refreshed for the following day.
