The hotel `nearly sits on the river Rhine`s bank and is in good walking distance to many of Cologne`s attractions. The hotel is well-kept and the room was standard Novotel. Internet was easy to use and the staff helpful.

reasonable stay - could be better

There were a couple of issues with my stay, as a Silver member I expected to be issued with a drinks voucher which I wasnt and I had to request this from reception. Also I requested a quiet room away from the lift noise, this didnt happen and the stay was not good as a consequence. I realise that this maybe down to availability but colleagues who didnt request this were placed in a quiter location despite not requesting this.

I don't know why there is no body lotion tube in the bedroom anymore. I took a superior room partly because of this and that failed the purpose. Also there was no bag for dirty laundry in the room.

The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming! The hotel location was very good, and the room was very clean and fresh. Overall a great stay, unfortunately I only stayed 1 night.
