We understand that the hotel is just getting back to "normal" after covid19, Staff were friendly and helpful - we even found a beautiful green tree frog out the front of the hotel. Room was comfortable but the shower took a while to heat up.

Understand that you have a captured market being so isolated. But there is no excuse for shabby looking rooms and poor maintenance. The food in the restaurant was very good.

sheets dirty, bathroom smelled, fridge hardly worked, restaurant not that great Aircon worked well, pool was nice

I thought the room, which was supposed to be Deluxe, did not appear to be any different to a standard room. Whilst clean enough, it was poorly appointed, broken glass in the shower, tiles missing/broken and just generally very tired. The room key did not work and I discovered it was already open. I got a new key that did work but when I left the next morning and returned later that day, I discovered that the room had not been locked after being cleaned, leaving my personal items (including an expensive laptop) at risk. My milk for coffee was not replaced and I had to walk over to the office to get more. Dinner was an unusual experience. There were two staff available and only three customers at seats. I waited three minutes before I was approached for seating. Another customer arrived behind me in the meantime. He was seated straight after me and brought water and then ordered a meal. It took another five minutes for them to remember me, bring water and take my order. Other customers arrived progressively, ordered and received their meals and I continued to wait until well after them before I received mine. Ordered a drink (eventually), but when finished, was never offered another. Not a good experience. I understand I was in Katherine, but I would hope we can do better than this.

Ran a program of Mental Health First Aid, for Military, Police, and Emergency services personnel and their Families over a four day period. The staff could not do enough for us every thing fell into place and went like clockwork. The catering was superb and delivered hot and fresh. The chef even prepared takeaway meals for people who had to return to Darwin early. On behalf of Billeroy Veterans and the Darwin RSL thank you.

I'm staff with Novotel Melbourne on Collins, and I felt like family when staying with you. The GSA, I think his name is Sakib ( sorry I could be wrong) was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He outlined the tours for us, and helped us plan our trip. It was truly heartwarming. The steak in the restaurant for dinner was really good, made exactly medium rare which is so rare these days. The service was great as well! Thank you Ibis!

The room I booked I got cheaper then it was priced and I am thankful. It had everything I needed for accommodation eg oven, stove-top, kitchen sink, microwave, jug, toaster. Everything.

The manager at check-in was very nice, but that was the only good thing about the stay. The room was extremely hot when checked in, the aircon didn't work and the room stayed hot all night, it was very uncomfortable. The ceiling fan also sounded like it was going to fall out of the roof when turned on. The pool area had no shade whatsoever and the cement around it was so hot my son could hardly walk on it. The grass around the pool was long and overgrown.
