Probably the worst ibis I’ve been to 😡as I’ve been driving not relishing I need a code for the door and entry to my room tried it get it on line but was closed 😡 ringing the number which turned out to be a joke spoke to someone but still waiting for someone to open the door

Room very clean - duvet a bit small (didn't actually cover the width of the bed) - but bed was comfy enough.

We came to the hotel around 10 pm, in the reservation it was clearly stated that the hotel was 24/7 accessible, however the registration machine was out of order. There was a message stating we should press the "notruf" button, however no response. With another guest we went up the lift to the reception, where no-one was available anymore. Hence we could not check in and had to book another room in a different hotel. This is not acceptable, if the machine is broken and you know there are still people under way, you cannot abandon the reception!

We stayed at ibis budget Flensburg for about half an hour, in the lobby. We had alerted the hotel of our late arrival due to a delayed train. We knew about the reception beeing closed at that hour, but were sure we could use our booking details to check in. The mail said so. Upon arrival there was a broken self check in machine. Our registration number was not possible to use, we needed a code we had not received. The phone number given was not answered at all, the button we were told to use did not give any reaction at all and when we phones the other ibis in town to get help, again there was no answer. There was no one there except for a guest who tried to help us. The reception area upstairs was closed off and even though there were toilets, there were nowhere to sleep. We considered the stars but basically it was unfit for sleeping. We had our takeaway meal on the stairs. I am sure the hotel is good enough if you can get in, but i have to give a low score as we really tried to stay at the hotel but it was impossible. The self check in must be fixed, promptly. The phone number we were instructed to call and the button for use after hours must also give some response. We had to put our money elsewhere at another hotel, in order to get some much needed sleep.
