Generally fine and as expected for Ibis. The room was clean and quiet, good shower and quite spacious. The coffee at breakfast (from the coffee machine) was really terrible, it would be better to have a drip filter or something else. I understand that you want to charge extra for the barista coffee, but at the price of the breakfast, the coffee should be drinkable! Also, with other hotels, I am able to check in online and this includes payment and this means that I save time on arrival. Otherwise it seems a waste of time to check in online since I still have to go through everything when I arrive at the hotel.

When a booking is prepaid, online check-in is indeed a faster and more seamless process upon arrival. However, for bookings that are set to pay at the property, additional steps are required at reception to complete payment and verification, which can take a little longer. Very unhelpful with booking on arrival after making booking rang to confirm months out to make sure I had booked to room together and told they were. We were put 6 floors and opposite end of building away from each other, when questioned nope nothing can be done said they were booked together nope separate booking was all I was told nothing they can do.

Second stay at this hotel (first was approx 12 years ago). Location is perfect with everything on your doorstep. Room was clean and tidy with everything I needed. Only issue was being adjacent to the cleaner's cupboard for the floor I was on (room 302) and the staff were very noisy while using it (shouting to each other and screaming with laughter) - so much so they woke me from a daytime sleep and I had to leave my room to ask them to please be quiet. Staff may need to be reminded that there is always a possibiloity that guests may be resting in the daytime and never to assume a room is empty. Would stay again but ask for a different room. Great dining facility, efficient reception staff.
