I had a good visit to Wellington staying at Ibis. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the hotel is well situated for visiting Wellington city. I was visiting for WOW and it was a short walk to the arena to see the show. My room was big, but fairly basic and could perhaps use updating. There wasn’t any USB charging points in the room and I was glad I brought a USB power board with me.

Very good location. Nice and quiet rooms. Needed instructions on where to go on arrival, and especially when using the Ibis carpark (a map would’ve been helpful too). More milk was needed, and many people don’t like tea or coffee but like a hot chocolate so they should be included in with the tea and coffee. There was mold on the indoor of the shower that needed scrubbing off. Staff were friendly, and we would start again.

Easy friendly check in, were able to go to room even though it was early. Room clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small and needs up dating. Side of toilet had long black hairs on it. Bar staff downstairs couldn't cope with the amount of people at happy hour. Long wait. Food was very nice in the restaurant. Locality was great, close to shops and cafes and to ASB Arena. Would stay again.

The lounge area and dining room were very cold so it was not enjoyable to sit and have a coffee or drink or eat dinner. A number of diners had to wait a long time for meals and people who came later received their meals before those that had ordered quite a lot earlier. There was insufficient coffee and sugar in the room and we had to ask for extras twice and we are not big coffee drinkers. We were only there for 2 nights.
