In a modern, Art-deco ambience, the B'ARTISTE is the ideal spot to enjoy a glass of wine selected by our sommelier. The musical atmosphere and peaceful alcoves are perfect for a moment of relaxation away from it all.

Could not control the room temperature. The room was very warm so we had uncomfortable sleep. We were given a fan which helped minimally.

I recently stayed at Hôtel Mercure Lyon Centre Beaux-Arts for three nights, and my experience was delightful. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Lyon’s Presqu'île district and within walking distance of major attractions like Place Bellecour and Vieux Lyon. Being situated in a UNESCO World Heritage area added to the charm, and the proximity to restaurants, shops, and public transport made exploring the city incredibly convenient. I stayed in a corner room with large French windows overlooking Place des Jacobins. The room was spacious, bright, and beautifully soundproofed, ensuring restful nights despite the central location. It was equipped with modern amenities such as a minibar, coffee maker, and flat-screen TV. The Art Deco design added a touch of elegance, though some minor updates to certain features might enhance the overall experience. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, they went above and beyond to ensure comfort. A handwritten welcome note from the manager was a thoughtful touch that made me feel valued as a guest. Their recommendations for local dining and sightseeing were spot-on. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including fresh pastries, cheeses, and hot items. The quality was excellent, though the breakfast area could benefit from more space during peak hours. The hotel provides free high-speed WiFi, 24-hour front desk service, and concierge assistance. Additional services like dry cleaning and laundry were available as well. I appreciated the eco-friendly initiatives under their Clef Verte certification, which reflect their commitment to sustainability. Hôtel Mercure Lyon Centre Beaux-Arts is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Lyon for leisure or business. Its prime location, friendly service, and comfortable rooms make it a standout option in the city center. I would definitely return for another stay! As a negative experience, I was surprised to find out that the hotel demands a 100EUR bond, even all the services have been paid in advance. This is astonishing, taking into account that I am a Accor Gold Member. No hotel from Accor group required such a bond until now. More then that, the bond was not released even three days after leaving the hotel.

Dear Gabriel, Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review of your recent stay at Hôtel Mercure Lyon Centre Beaux-Arts. We\'re absolutely delighted to hear that your experience was so enjoyable and that you appreciated the unique charm of our location, nestled in the heart of Lyon’s historic Presqu’île district. It’s wonderful to know that your corner room overlooking Place des Jacobins offered the comfort, tranquility, and brightness you were looking for, and that the Art Deco touches added to your overall enjoyment. Your kind words about our team truly mean a lot—we’re thrilled that you felt warmly welcomed and supported throughout your stay. The handwritten note from our manager is just one of the many ways we strive to make each guest feel at home, and we’re happy it made a difference to you. We also appreciate your recognition of our breakfast selection and eco-friendly initiatives. Guest feedback like yours reassures us that our sustainability efforts and attention to detail are being noticed and valued. That said, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced regarding the security bond. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially as a valued Accor Gold Member. While a deposit is a standard procedure in many hotels for potentital extras, we regret that this was not clearly communicated and that the release process caused unnecessary concern. Please rest assured that we are actively reviewing our procedures to ensure greater transparency and quicker resolution in such cases. We truly value your loyalty to the Accor group and hope this isolated issue won’t deter you from visiting us again. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back for an even smoother and more memorable stay. Warm regards, Rémi MARTIGNAGO - General Manager

The staff was super nice and helpful. It’s well located, close to bakery and coffeehouse. The beds were comfortable although smaller than regular ones.
