Room temperature and noise made staying in the room quite uncomfortable

The room temperature could not be adjusted to a warmer setting and when I asked apparently the room temperature is set and can’t really be adjusted also when asked there were no heater/radiator, they could only offer another blanket. I am starting to see a pattern with this within the Accor group (had exactly the same issue at an Autograph Hotel in Vienna and a Novotel in Geneva a couple of weeks ago) not sure whether this is a commercial policy (saving on energy bills at the cost of the customer). These are not exactly warm, tropical destinations in the winter and would like to have the freedom to select a temperature that I deem comfortable.

Zurich city west was at good location Hardly 8 mins walk from Zurich hard brukee station . Loved the stay .. being a gold member prirority was given to us Thanks to Carlos who was very attentive . Though we have to always leave in morning and come late evening . Still stay was good Clean bathrooms Clean beddings Though rooms are very small but all in adjustive We didn’t know Novotel and ibis was in line together. The purchase done at ibis could be not be credited to my account . The receptionist said it would have been only done if it was Novotel. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby Taking Swiss pass for 6 days was ideal plan suggested by Carlos Thank you ibis team

Everything was great, I especially love those small American pancakes for breakfast. Room was cozy and clean. Receptionists were very polite. I would just add one thing - it was colder then I expected, and I could only put a temperature to the certain degree, and after couple of hours I felt it was still colder, especially in the bathroom.
