I am still waiting for my receipt from my stay last weekly, typically I get it straight away The rooms were really warm, even on lowest setting it was still roasting Other than this the visit was fine

PlateMan Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

On a recent Europe trip, this was by my far my least favorite hotel. Why? The WiFI did not work and the receptionist said it was that was for 2-3 days already. She tried to blame the provider, but their overall status was 'up.' They would not provide a cable, so despite 'Internet access' being blasted all over, there was zero access provided. This caused me not to get some work done and to go over data on my phone and the hotel didn't care. -Breakfast is expensive. And lacks hot options. The scrambled eggs were long gone when I went to eat at 0930 (breakfast goes to 1000). -Parking is EUR14 and that is not necessary as it a suburban area -Hotel is super unattractive from the exterior. A little paint would go a long way. Would I return to this hotel should I find myself here? Never. And advise you book elsewhere too.

Dear PlateMan, as we have already expained by mail, Internet Connection wasn´t available in all Hotels of the Event Group in Germany for two days, due to a serius technical Problem that couldn´t be fixed on site. Does anyone know why so many hotels in the world are called 'Bristol'? This Mercure Bristol is average. Nice room, good bathroom with walk-in shower (bonus points!), poor internet connection. No picture but an inspirational saying on the bedroom wall that is as enigmatic as the name Bristol: "Modern ist, was man selbst traegt. Unmodern ist, was andere tragen." ???

Business colleagues and I stayed here for two nights while in town for a conference. The staff was very check in, in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, at checkout. Every interaction was pleasant and professional. The rooms were a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. The on-site restaurant served really good food...we had dinner the first night and breakfast both mornings. All of the German staples you would expect (cheeses, breads, boiled eggs, yogurts, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, good coffee and many juices). Overall a satisfying place to stay.

Hotel was nice, near autobahn, but in green area. Room has several points to improve: kracks on plastic window, small kracks on the wall. No slipperies, no bathrobe, no toothpaste and toothbrush. Quiet area. Another one Mercury hotel in 7 minutes by foot. It is with swimming pool and you can use it free of charge.
