I am a frequent visitor to your hotel. i live in the tablelands and it has always been my place to stay when in Cairns. This visit was on a pearl special deal for 2 nights . I was overcharged on check in, which i queried on check out and was told I had been and it would be refunded. That day after check out we spent a couple of hours in the casino before leaving (we have done this many times before). Parking was included in the Pearl Deal, but is appears to end on checkout as we were charged $4.40 when we put the ticket in the machine and attempted to leave. I though that was a bit stingy. 2 days later (30/4/), I called the casino as the refund had not been received and was told someone would call me later in the day. By the 5/5/26 I had not received a phone call or had the funds been returned. I called the casino again and spoke to the duty manager who assured me the refund would occur - which it was the following day. I understand mistakes happen but I get upset when promises are made and not kept. I also think the parking costs a bit rude. had i known I was going to be charged I could have got it comped on my casino card. It is not the money but the principle. I will continue to stay at the Casino when in Cairns - I love the rooms and the breakfasts are very good- hopefully my next stay will be better.

Stayed at this property on many occasions but hotel needs refurbishing & house keeping have dropped their standards..
