Excellent location, right next to the railway station and right in the center of the town Spacious Room with Mont Blanc view, nice and clean bathroom Not so good: Room located not in the main Hotel building but on the other side of the street, entrance and elevator a little bit run down, needs renovation Room was stinking like a smokers room, not acceptable. Service personal was not able to move me to another room, nothing available due to renovation of the main hotel building Breakfast was basic due to the Covid 19 restrictions (not their fault)

Nice hotel, well located. Friendly staff. Very good dinner. Hotel parking expensive (30€/day) but there is a nearby non-covered parking at 16,5€/day. Breakfast is poor, not worth 12€, maybe before the covid era the buffet was great but now i think you can get a better and cheaper breakfast at a bakery ...

staff very friendly, the hotel and rooms are beautiful, one negative point is that there was a stain on the carpet. Also the description of the breakfast did not really correspond to the real. For example as fruit salad we receive an apple. Also, you are not able to order the dinner in to the room if you do not put a French phone number, the ordering plateform was a bit complicated. But otherwise we enjoyed a lot.

A mistake for the reception to charge twice the room (not solved till now)

Well located and Nice room. Unfortunately, the reception charged me twice for the room (the room already be paid to the agency, but the mistake made by the reception when check-in ). Then the solution proposed was to refund me when checking out on Dec 23rd. But, I still not received it three weeks later through I tried to call the reception several times.

I stayed 4 nights and disliked the fact that service was reduced to a level that even Covid-related measures cannot - in my opinion - justify. No room service during the entire stay is one thing but not asking the client one single time whether everything is fine or whether he/she needs anything is another. I had to go to the reception to ask for additional tea and coffee pouches twice during my stay (they could have been deposited in front of my door) and had to myself bring down my trash to a public bin outside of the building, which I found slightly over the top for staying at a 4 star hotel.

I realize that traveling during the pandemic is challenging for all and that hotels continue to struggle. I also think that with fewer customers and the desire to recoup lost revenue over the past year should motivate hotel staff and the hotel to BE EXCELLENT. I was largely disappointed by our stay. My family and I were there for a few nights in late December 2020. With the exception of the male front desk worker (who was fabulous), the rest of the hotel team was pretty mediocre. Check-in: We arrived about an hour (there was less traffic than we expected) and I went to check whether our room was ready. I was told a half hour. After a half hour, my spouse went to check, and he was told an hour. I went to double-check again, and I was told it was actually ready. The frustrating part was that we had to wait in line forever every time to check on the status -- that is because hotel workers refuse to look up to see how many people are in line. The service could be a lot more efficient if you had 1) a dedicated staff to take the phone calls (and you should prioritize customers who are physically in front of you over customers on the phone... take down their number and tell them you'll call them back!), 2) a concierge to answer questions about things to do (amazed that front desk workers were talking forever with customers, providing suggestions on things to do), and 3) a staff that had the basic instinct to look up to get a sense of how many customers you have waiting... (we had customers waiting in line through the door)! It's not rocket science, just basic customer service. Positive point: the hotel lobby was pretty and looked modern. But, it's not like we were able to enjoy it, since we were placed in the annex -- across the street, where the elevator was BROKEN. We rarely ever saw hotel staff (except the ones delivering room service). I understand that because of COVID-19, there was no daily housekeeping and that's fine... but it didn't feel like you were at a hotel. If I had known this would happen, I would have stayed at an Airbnb. Room service: With the national restrictions, there were very limited takeout options around town. But the room service menu was extremely limited and nothing sounded appetizing. It was very disappointing. I read in the press that to accommodate customers, the Mercure provided tables in every room. That's a nice start, but what about a little fridge in that case? Check-out: As I was given the option of getting our hotel receipt emailed to me, I said yes. When hotels email you the receipt, you normally get it in your inbox within minutes, if not immediately -- it is 2020/2021 after all, everything should be automated. By evening time, I still had not received my e-receipt, so I called thinking the front desk staff probably forgot to click on the right button. The woman who picked up was rude and said they hadn't gotten to it -- what?? and because I sounded surprised, she was like "why is that surprising?" well... because that's never happened to me before and when you're supposedly a 4-star hotel, that shouldn't happen. Plus, basic customer service is you apologize for the inconvenience and you say you'll take care of it right away. The next day still nothing. So the following evening, my spouse called, the male front desk worker picked up and made it happen (honestly, the only competent guy -- he should be training everyone else). Like the title says, we will not be staying at this hotel again. We were looking forward to getting away after being confined at home for so long, but it wasn't the relaxing getaway we were hoping. This was low season + COVID-19, so there weren’t that many customers. I can’t imagine what this place must be like during normal times, but we will definitely not be there to find out.

Had a great 3 days at Chamonix a good resort for skiers and partying and sight seeing, the hotel was in a fantastic location walking distance to everything. Room with balcony and hotel breakfast was lovely the breakfast was exceptional

Rooms are cosy for 4 member families. Breakfast is a very wide choice continental buffet with almost everything you can imagine. Reception staff are pretty clueless. They charged me for a ski pass card which is free in all ski shops in Chamonix. The view from my room balcony was on top of the entrance roof. The roof was littered with wood planks, ladders and tools thrown about. It was an eyesore that workers left there hoping the snow would cover them! Where is the manager of this hotel? what does he do?

Hotel is in a good location with a 5 minute walk to ski bus stop. Good breakfast choice uncomfortable bed. The room was much smaller than advertised on the web site which was a bit disappointing. One area of concern was the room key sopped working a couple of times and reception did not ask for your name or ID when getting a new key so literally anyone could get in. i saw this happen to other people too so not just me.

Love our stay enjoyed our room one negative not enough cupboard space for cloths. Close to town but a very good work to the slopes which if you extremely fit would be fine but if not get the bus to the lift. Great for the train station.

We booked "SUPERIOR ROOM WITH MOUNTAIN VIEW, BALCONY, 1 DOUBLE BED AND TWIN BEDS" . We only found out that the twin beds were sofa bed upon our arrival. The sofa bed was hard and not comfy to sleep on. After checked in at the receptionist, we were required to bring our own luggages to another building across the road. This was so tiring as there were ice and water on the road and our luggages are heavy. The lift is small and slow. We waited the lift for 15 mins every single time.The wifi signal is also weak and poor. Do note that they are only giving 1 bottle of water per room. Even though we paid for 3 pax for 2 nights, they only gave us 1 bottle of drinking water throughout the stay. Which I find that this is ridiculous. Further,yes, the hotel provides free ski storage. We asked for the locker key at the receptionist and they gave us OCCUPIED lockers. We climbed the stairs up and down for MORE THAN 5 times (the locker room is one floor below of the receptionist). When we first asked for the locker key, they gave us locker #81. When we opened the locker, there were someone else's ski equipment in there. So we went up to the receptionist to change another locker key, they gave us another occupied locker again. And this went on for another 5 times. In the end, the receptionist just notified us that he has no other keys left and asked us to carry those ski equipments back to our room. We were so mad and upset with this as the receptionist could have tell us that there were no empty lockers left and we need not to walk the stairs up and down for so many times. Wasted our time and energy. This has also portraits the hotel's failure in security (as we have access to someone else's lockers with keys provided by the receptionist). They should have feel lucky as we are not thieves. The only good thing about the hotel was the clean room and breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.

This hotel is very well situated by the railway station and a short stroll to the centre of Chamonix. Our room was modern and comfortable with a small balcony. It was also clean and everything worked with exception of the shower temperature which was impossible to regulate. The secure parking was charged at €30 for one night which we considered excessive.

The elevator was not working all the 4 days we stayed. We have a toddler and a pregnant woman and they did not bother to make things more convenient for us. The bfast spread was good. The room was a bit musty. The carpets in corridors need extra cleaning smells old and dusty. Otherwise, location was pretty good smack in chamonix centre butbaway from the noise and near the gare. It would be nice if they offered. More convenient stay for pregnant women and children especially if their service elevators are not working.
