This was our first hotel stay since March 2020 -- and everything was at the upmost standards: service of the staff, cleanliness of the hotel and rooms, and precautions to keep people safe. We felt welcomed and never once worried about Covid while at the hotel. We were surprised with an upgrade to a junior suite and it was wonderful!

My husband and I stayed in one of the Imperial canal house suites with canal view. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed, because the service was top-notch. Our room Butler, Maurizio, was attentive but in an unobtrusive way. It seems like the staff tries to anticipate anything you could possibly want, and you are never left waiting or wondering what is going on. The suite was beautiful, truly luxurious, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. The food (we ordered room service) was delicious. My husband and I both had massages at the spa and felt that they were amongst the best we have ever had. The hotel itself is in a beautiful historic building that is meticulously maintained. Although the hotel is situated in a prime tourist location, from the moment you arrive in the entryway courtyard, it feels as though you are in a quiet, private, retreat. The hotel is large but it somehow feels like a boutique hotel with the individualized service and unique charm. I consider my standards to be extremely high as I am very detail oriented. I can honestly say that I had a PERFECT luxury hotel experience. This is how I want to feel at a 5-star hotel. I cannot wait for my next visit!

Fantastic stay in this property with excellent services. The Food and Beverage facilities are amazing and the fine dining restaurant is outstanding. The staff in the restaurant is well knowledgeable and their recommendations were great. The transportation service with Ramon is outstanding. He made my short stay memorable from the pick up from the airport and the drop off. I will definitely return.

Thank you for an amazing stay; the entire staff at the hotel well beyond expectations. As a Diamond member on Accor and Platinum on Bonvoy, we have experienced great service at many properties worldwide. The team at Sofitel Legend didn't make us feel like they were "trying" to make us happy, they just did, effortlessly. Undoubtedly, this was a well trained team that executed flawlessly. Oh, and the room, spa, and lobby bar were fantastic as well. Great job Sofitel! We will DEFINITELY be back!

Stayed a few times with my family so my partner and I decided to go for our first anniversary as a treat, Honestly blew him away as much as me every time I’ve stayed! Amazing service if you need anything delivered they will try and make it happen, breakfasts buffet just started up again which made us very happy, amazing terrace area for drinks and food, beautiful rooms with the prettiest bathrooms, just everything really! Couldn’t recommend more.

Wonderful hôtel, very well located at the heart of Amsterdam. The person is very nice,helpful… it has been a short break but we felt like week of holiday. The pool is very nice. The garden quite and peaceful. We will come back.
