Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam 5 stars

The Sofitel Legend Grand is a beautiful, well run hotel, with an outstanding staff! This majestic building has so much history that they even conduct tours to tell you its story! The staff are very friendly and professional, the Concierge was extremely helpful with us in planning a trip outside the city. The staff at the restaurant for breakfast were so cordial and the food outstanding! Our room was well maintained, clean and the staff paid close attention to detail. I highly recommend a beverage at the Flying Dutchman Bar, where the staff were also friendly and knowledgeable! The Sofitel Legend is in a great location to shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. We will definitely be returning!

We checked in to our luxury, canal-view room and were immediately surprised and disappointed by how small it was and how plain. Not what I would call luxury at all. We were exhausted after our 11 hour flight and soon discovered that our bed was sagging, broken down, and uncomfortable. The carpeting was also thoroughly stained. The layout was strange as you had to walk through the open shower to get from the toilet to the sink. My husband spoke to Taco in reception and he was quite understanding and upgraded us to a Junior Suite on the same floor. A huge improvement in every way and we were satisfied. Our compliments go out to Taco and all the staff at the hotel. They were all gracious and helpful.

Had a great 3 day stay at the Sofitel

Our experience was great, we had no issues at all. Just a very little point was that we were invited with some drinks that they never came... obviously Is not relevant. The breakfast were really great! We only want to say thank you, and send an speciall mention to Stefany at the front desk!. Superlative in her treatment with the guests. We hope to stay with you againin the future.

From arrival at the airport by Ramon I was confident my stay will be perfect. The driver ensured we were entertained all the way. He told us those unique stories that makes you fall in love with the city. Upon arriving at the hotel, the Concierge team was waiting for us which made us feel wanted. The welcome and my room was fantastic and the service. Special thank you to Fabienne who ensured we had the best time of our life in the city and with wonderful dinner recommendations. My entire and amenities was delightful. Thank you for looking after us. You were the highlight of our Europe trip
