Our stay was made pleasant especially by their really friendly staff, the room was comfortable, it was a shame that the restaurant was closed, we had to got to find somewhere to eat, I suppose it was because our stay was out of season

No water for children

I stayed at the Mercure Futuroscope with my 9 year old son and I asked the front desk for more water, because in our room we only had one 500ml bottle of water for the two of us in the fridge. I was instructed that it's not possible to give us more water and that the only option is to pay €6 for 1000ml bottle of Vittel. As a Platinum member I can assure you I am highly motivated to be loyal to a different hotel brand now that I understand this type of behaviour is considered normal at Accor.

Stopped here during the long drive north to the ferry. 24 hour staff were quick and efficient. Dogs allowed in the room so everyone happy. Breakfast was a little disappointing but at least it was quiet on a week-day in December. Only gripe is that there are no plug-in points in the parking area. Nearest one is at the Campanile down the road.
