Was upgraded to a balcony room for free, only negative was the room service didn't have coffee options and the coffee in the room was just instant so had to go out for food coffee

Stayed for business for 2 nights. Stay was generally good. Location was very well suited for my needs. Staff were all friendly. Food (room service) was very good. The burger in particular was a standout. (It's a big call but possibly the best I've ever had anywhere). Not impressed when I printed my invoice a week later and found it included an $88 charge for parking that no-one had mentioned anything about at any time.

pleasant and helpful staff. I was upgraded which was nice. I had a random staff member knocking for a while at my door at night - which spooked me a little. He then apologised as he had the wrong room. My trip was very brief so didn't get a chance to appreciate the hotel.

Good location, but cleanliness is an issue

Room was filthy, there was still coffee stains and drinking glass marks still on the bench and bedside bench. I dropped my tablet container, so I pulled the bed out, there was fluff balls, dirty tissues and a pile of dust/ fluff. Looks like it hasn’t been pulled and cleaned for a while. The room need a good proper clean

Food and service from Restaurant was appalling!

Accommodation was great however unfortunately the food and service at the restaurant was sub standard to say the least. Dinner on Friday night took ages to arrive and the food was overpriced considering parts of it were stone cold when it arrived. Breakfast was even more disappointing as the buffet food at 8am was all dried out and stale. This I believe was due to the fact that it had been there since 6am and with the heating on it had all spoilt. The slices of cheese had curled up and the blocks were all sweaty, the bread for toasting and fruit salad was all dehydrated and dried out. Coffee machine was out of order and we were not offered an alternative. Very disappointing!!

Stay was satisfactory under the current circumstances. Experienced delays at check-in and check-out and had lengthy queues when using the lift. Staff were all very pleasant as they always are.

Great location, beautiful view

We were originally booked for the Pullman, however we’re moved to the Novotel in a suite. Great bedroom with comfortable bed. As we had kids staying with us, the hotel made up the sofa bed and a single roll away bed. The rollaway bed was comfortable but the sofa bed was not. The mattress was very thin and the metal bars were hard through the mattress. The kitchen, table and balcony were great to have. The bathroom was big and spacious but lighting was very low and hard to see. Staff were all friendly and the hotel was clean throughout. The main letdown in the stay was the buffet breakfast. General hygiene and covid standards were not being adhered to by guests, or enforced by staff. Platters of cheese and meats were left uncovered with guests breathing /coughing/ sneezing on the food, guests handling the bread without tongs etc. The muffins and pastries were not fresh and most felt still frozen. The scrambled eggs appeared watery and the bacon was also disappointing- looked undercooked and dripping in oil. It was a real shame after a lovely stay.

This is perfectly located next to Sydney Olympic Park. Beds super comfortable and a great shower. Perhaps the staff should communicate better, re late check out, which I had arranged the evening before and then mentioned to reception on my way past at 11 am. Other than that no complaint.

From the moment we arrived staff were friendly and helpful. Benjamin front of desk is excellent so good at his job he went out of his way as soon as we arrived until we left. Vincent in the restaurant was also very good to us. The rooms are big enough with nice views of the park or stadium and are quiet.

A disappointing experience

Tried calling the hotel on our way there for 1.5 hours but no answer. Reception staff were lovely at check-in. On our floor we were surprised to find a mix if random bits & pieces all over the floor... an office chair, a random exercise bike, buckets. The lock on our bedroom door wouldn't lock. At dinner once we'd had a seat, we waited almost an hour before we had to ask someone to come and take our order. We then had a tall red head slump over and say "Are you ready to order or what?" He was completely unprofessional and unfriendly. Food then tool a long time to arrive. "Buffet" breakfast the next day was a disaster... the food was roped off and the wait staff served your food from the buffet- the line up was horrendous and considering most people were there for a swimming race or the Easter show it would have made everyone late. No value for money either as the lineups discouraged you from bothering to go for more.
