ibis budget Koeln Marsdorf 1 star

Stayed two nights. Had arrived into cold unheated room. The second day our room was not cleaned, no change of towels. Very basic service, unprofessional aproach, poor quality

It was easy to reach and a free parking and all the rooms are clean and nice

The hotel is exactly what I expected. A clean room a good bed and plenty of well lit parking space. The men working behind reception on Tuesday and Saturday morning was friendly and even though it was very busy Saturday morning there was enough breakfast and fresh items were added when needed.

We normally stay at the Ibis in Frechen but was full so tried the Ibis budget expecting it to be adequate for our yearly visit to the Christmas Markets in Kõln. I can honestly say we were so happy that we will make this our regular hotel. Great welcome on arrival. The other half of our party arrived much later than we did but was able to pass their room details and entry key numbers to them that was very helpful. Very clean and tidy rooms with a comfy bed and plenty of space. The shower was awesome! Can't rate breakfast as we didn't have it there but from what I saw looked perfectly amicable.

Thé élevator was missing for someone with luggages and 3rd floor room...

room was ready as promised when I left the Autobahn and arrived right at beginning of check-in at 1400 h. My dog settled right in as I went to town by public transport for my meetings and a few beers. later had a good night‘s sleep in quiet surroundings. Breakfast was ready the next morning after I took the dog for his walk to the fields a couple of hundred meters away

given the price, location , breakfast and really nice staff it was a perfect stay for a budget tour. Wish we had a hotel like this when we were young and travelling with our little kids...

I reserved a room for three. Nothing different from what offered BUT, pillows for two, towels for two, air conditioning not working very well and of course, nobody was ar the front desk at the time I arrived so I had to wait till the next day. If you can lie with that, is a nice stay for the price. Breakfast is subpar, so I recommend you go to a bakery instead and you will get more for the same money.

If you seek to admire the view of verdant park-land from your hôtel window, go somewhere else! If, on the other hand you wish to be warmly welcomed into a spotlessly clean, warm & dry facility within 5 minutes of the Autobahn, at the SW corner of Köln, then this is the place for you. I mark "Service" down, simply because this is an Ibis Economy, so very little service is offered. If you want to pay more and get lots of service,. the excellent Mercure is just down the road. I should also mention that my large happy dog was made just as welcome as I!

This was my second stay at the hotel. Good value for rather small cost. Very basic, but quite adequate for a short business visit. Could have been better if I did not see a cockroach in the bread basket at breakfast.

A perfect budget hotel for a visit to Koln. There is a small selection of eating places within a short walk. The best thing about the hotel is its location close to to tram stop. Tram into city center about 20 mins. Pay using machine on tram €2.90.

average, the staff was a bit rude. did not tried to help. close to U-Bahn and some markets, but bahn comes once in every 20 minutes. ride take about 20 more minutes to Neumarkt. but price was really good.

We had a very pleasant stay. Very well equipped room and we had a good sleep. For women there is no hairdryer but all features are there and come at a moderate price. We will surely stay here again when we perform again in Cologne.

Both for business and holidays very conveniently situated just outside town and near the motorway in a very quite district. Tram to town is 5 minutes walking distance and it takes 20 minutes to the center. Hotel is pretty new, decent, clean room with good beds, shower, TV and free WiFi. Free parking. We did not opt for the breakfast so cannot judge on that. Overall as all the Ibis Budget hotels: no frills.
