Basic. Bed. Shower in the room. Toilet off the room. Pillow about 5mm thick. Warm and dry. That's it. Found it online when on a long drive across the continent and simply wanted somewhere to rest our heads. Booked through booking.com but the booking hadn't made it so had to repeat when we arrived.

This summer on our way to Italy we stayed one night at the Ibis Hotel, which is a budget hotel in Lohfelden near Kassel. The staff was absolutely nice and helpful, perfect service. The rooms were great and the breakfast was extremely good which was a buffet. It was also possible to buy dinner and it was also very delicious. It was really a nice experience. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Basic facilities , clean and convenient, reasonably priced hotel.

Basic facilities , clean and convenient, reasonably priced hotel. Aftre they hired foreign maintenance staff we were not getting 3 pillows in our room whenever we booked there . Since then, I always request 3 pillows in the room when I book. An this works OK. They advertise free wifi but it has not been available over the last few stays .

Arrived to the male smokers and loud music. Receptionist not very welcoming. Room what you’ve come to expect from your bed inside your bathroom. Quite intimidating as the eyes watch your girlfriend goingbin and out of the hotel. On the plus side the normal ibis up the road seemed more welcoming. Spend the extra 5/10 Euro Location ok for motorway stop over

On our way from north Germany to the absolute south of the country we stayed overnight halfway. Arrived late and out early again next day. For this the hotel was perfekt. We had a room for 2 adults and a one child. Bed for the child was above our bed. Room was clean and check in without any Hasle. I recommend to use pre-check inn (web). We also booked the breakfast which was Ok. Very convinient to have it at the hotel, but you will get a better choice for the same money anywhere else on the highway.
