Reservation: Booked for 5 days from Saturday to Wednesday during the spring break period in March. Location: The hotel is quite far from everything on foot, requiring the use of a car. However, it's situated in a quiet area. Hotel: Reception isn't available 24/7; after 6:00 PM, guests receive an email with room number and code for entry. The door opens easily. Upon entering the room, the window was left open, possibly to air out cigarette smell from a previous guest. Heating was turned off, and despite adjusting it to maximum, the room remained cold. The shower had good water pressure and temperature, but only liquid shampoo was provided, along with a small bar of soap. Towels seemed clean but worn, with an odd smell. The bed was too soft and sagged in the middle, making it uncomfortable. The bedding had a particularly unpleasant odor. The room TV had acceptable channel selection and quality. In the bathroom, there were two rolls of toilet paper, but no cleaning service during the stay, resulting in no replenishment. Requesting supplies from the reception resulted in receiving them the next day. Cleaning service only occurred every 2-3 days, with no bedding change. On the third day, new supplies were provided, but the window was left open again, making the room cold. Breakfast was not tried, so no experience was had with that. Overall, considering it's a one-star hotel and the price, it meets expectations for such a establishment.

After a long days drive arrived at the hotel after 2200. Self service was broken. A lady was walking back and for cleaning. Saw we were having a problem. On the door was a number to call. Rang the number and a gentleman opened the door. No hello no greeting in any language. The gentleman spoke NO German Or English!!. Hand and feet then we were given a code for our room. Sorry but a German hotel and no German language or international English. Room was clean and tidy. Pillow was non existent and mattress as hard as concrete. After a night of tossing and turning we went for breakfast. No greeting from the gentleman just stared at us. Breakfast was good continental. Broken computer locked door and no German or English. Sorry but won't be back.
